3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thy heart; for Jehovah is with thee.
Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel. But Jehovah said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart:
And David said to Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God.
Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: as for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and for the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building.
And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion shall serve thee; for God is with thee.
But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for `Jehovah seeth' not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.
Grant thee thy heart's desire, And fulfil all thy counsel.
Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
