6 therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art man, and not God, though thou didst set thy heart as the heart of God;-
As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty. Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him. Look on every one that is proud, `and' bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.
Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Commentary on Ezekiel 28 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 28

Eze 28:11-19
As after the prediction of the ruin of Tyre (ch. 26) followed a pathetic lamentation for it (ch. 27), so after the ruin of the king of Tyre is foretold it is bewailed.
Eze 28:20-26
God's glory is his great end, both in all the good and in all the evil which proceed out of the mouth of the Most High; so we find in these verses.
