11 And they sang one to another in praising and giving thanks unto Jehovah, `saying', For he is good, for his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Jehovah, because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid.
O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.
O give thanks unto Jehovah; For he is good; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.
And all the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah was upon the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and gave thanks unto Jehovah, `saying', For he is good; for his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.
the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Give thanks to Jehovah of hosts, for Jehovah is good, for his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; `and of them' that bring `sacrifices of' thanksgiving into the house of Jehovah. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith Jehovah.
But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;
and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever;
Sing, O ye heavens, for Jehovah hath done it; shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Jehovah hath redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.
Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever. Oh give thanks unto the God of gods; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever. Oh give thanks unto the Lord of lords; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him who alone doeth great wonders; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that spread forth the earth above the waters; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that made great lights; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: The sun to rule by day; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; The moon and stars to rule by night; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that smote Egypt in their first-born; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; And brought out Israel from among them; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that divided the Red Sea in sunder; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; And made Israel to pass through the midst of it; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that led his people through the wilderness; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: To him that smote great kings; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; And slew famous kings; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: Sihon king of the Amorites; For his lovingkindness `endureth' forever; And Og king of Bashan; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; And gave their land for a heritage; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; Even a heritage unto Israel his servant; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: Who remembered us in our low estate; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever; And hath delivered us from our adversaries; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever: Who giveth food to all flesh; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever. Oh give thanks unto the God of heaven; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.
Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in. Who is the King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; Yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in. Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah Psalm 25 `A Psalm' of David.
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal: having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are `the names' of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
And his mercy is unto generations and generations On them that fear him.
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
I will extol thee, my God, O King; And I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; And I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall laud thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts. Of the glorious majesty of thine honor, And of thy wondrous works, will I meditate. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts; And I will declare thy greatness. They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, And shall sing of thy righteousness. Jehovah is gracious, and merciful; Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness. Jehovah is good to all; And his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; And thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, And talk of thy power;
God is gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.
Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
And it shall be, that, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him.
And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to Jehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously; The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
And Joshua commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

Commentary on Ezra 3 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 3
In the close of the foregoing chapter we left Israel in their cities, but we may well imagine what a bad posture their affairs were in, the ground untilled, the cities in ruins, all out of order; but here we have an account of the early care they took about the re-establishment of religion among them. Thus did they lay the foundation well, and begin their work at the right end.

Here is,
Ezr 3:8-13
There was no dispute among the returned Jews whether they should build the temple or no; that was immediately resolved on, and that it should be done with all speed; what comfort could they take in their own land if they had not that token of God's presence with them and the record of his name among them? We have here therefore an account of the beginning of that good work. Observe,
