2 Thinkest thou this to be `thy' right, `Or' sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,
And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Know now that God hath subverted me `in my cause', And hath compassed me with his net. Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry for help, but there is no justice.
As God liveth, who hath taken away my right, And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul: (For my life is yet whole in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils); Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, Neither shall my tongue utter deceit. Far be it from me that I should justify you: Till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me. My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: My heart shall not reproach `me' so long as I live.
