13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him.
And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into the mountain: and when he had sat down, his disciples came unto him:
And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the `son' of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the `son' of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
And he calleth unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits;
And it came to pass in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called his disciples; and he chose from them twelve, whom also he named apostles: Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip and Bartholomew, and Matthew and Thomas, and James `the son' of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot, and Judas `the son' of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor;
