8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.
Show me thy ways, O Jehovah; Teach me thy paths. Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.
and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it; when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant; For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; And lead me in a plain path, Because of mine enemies.
Unto thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul. O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding: In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.
Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy `cometh' in the morning.
And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.
YODH. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Lead me, O Jehovah, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; Make thy way straight before my face.

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
