1 Rejoice in Jehovah, O ye righteous: Praise is comely for the upright.
Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous; And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Praise ye Jehovah; For it is good to sing praises unto our God; For it is pleasant, `and' praise is comely.
Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth,
But they flattered him with their mouth, And lied unto him with their tongue. For their heart was not right with him, Neither were they faithful in his covenant.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;
For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous.

Psalm 33
This is a psalm of praise; it is probable that David was the penman of it, but we are not told so, because God would have us look above the penmen of sacred writ, to that blessed Spirit that moved and guided them. The psalmist, in this psalm,
We need not be at a loss for proper thoughts in singing this psalm, which so naturally expresses the pious affections of a devout soul towards God.
