12 Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep came on Abram, and a dark cloud of fear.
So I was by myself, and I saw this great vision, and all my strength went from me; and the colour went from my face. But the sound of his words came to my ears, and on hearing his voice I went into a deep sleep with my face to the earth.
In troubled thoughts from visions of the night, when deep sleep comes on men, Fear came on me and shaking, and my bones were full of trouble;
See how the Lord has made great his mercy for me; the Lord will give ear to my cry. Let there be fear in your hearts, and do no sin; have bitter feelings on your bed, but make no sound. (Selah.) Give the offerings of righteousness, and put your faith in the Lord.
