12 So that the sons of men may have knowledge of his acts of power, and of the great glory of his kingdom.
O give praise to the Lord; give honour to his name, talking of his doings among the peoples.
<A Psalm.> O make a new song to the Lord, because he has done works of wonder; with his right hand, and with his holy arm, he has overcome.
Who is able to give an account of the great acts of the Lord, or to make clear all his praise?
The Lord will send out the rod of your strength from Zion; be king over your haters. Your people give themselves gladly in the day of your power; like the dew of the morning on the holy mountains is the army of your young men.
To him who only does great wonders: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him by whom the earth was stretched out over the waters: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who made great lights: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. The sun to have rule by day: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. The moon and the stars to have rule by night: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who put to death the first-fruits of Egypt: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: And took out Israel from among them: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: With a strong hand and an outstretched arm: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who made a way through the Red Sea: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: And let Israel go through it: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: By him Pharaoh and his army were overturned in the Red Sea: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who took his people through the waste land: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. To him who overcame great kings: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: And put noble kings to death: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: Sihon, king of the Amorites: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: And Og, king of Bashan: for his mercy is unchanging for ever: And gave their land to his people for a heritage: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. Even a heritage for his servant Israel: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. Who kept us in mind when we were in trouble: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. And has taken us out of the hands of our haters: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. Who gives food to all flesh: for his mercy is unchanging for ever. O give praise to the God of heaven: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
Men will be talking of the power and fear of your acts; I will give word of your glory. Their sayings will be full of the memory of all your mercy, and they will make songs of your righteousness. The Lord is full of grace and pity; not quickly angry, but great in mercy. The Lord is good to all men; and his mercies are over all his works. All the works of your hands give praise to you, O Lord; and your saints give you blessing. Their words will be of the glory of your kingdom, and their talk of your strength; So that the sons of men may have knowledge of his acts of power, and of the great glory of his kingdom.
And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifting up my eyes to heaven, got back my reason, and, blessing the Most High, I gave praise and honour to him who is living for ever, whose rule is an eternal rule and whose kingdom goes on from generation to generation. And all the people of the earth are as nothing: he does his pleasure in the army of heaven and among the people of the earth: and no one is able to keep back his hand, or say to him, What are you doing?
And how is it that every one of us is hearing their words in the language which was ours from our birth? Men of Parthia, Media, and Elam, and those living in Mesopotamia, in Judaea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia, In Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and those who have come from Rome, Jews by birth and others who have become Jews, Men of Crete and Arabia, to all of us they are talking in our different languages, of the great works of God.
And how unlimited is his power to us who have faith, as is seen in the working of the strength of his power, By which he made Christ come back from the dead, and gave him a place at his right hand in heaven, Far over all rule and authority and power and every name which is named, not only in the present order, but in that which is to come:
Of which I was made a preacher, through that grace of God which was given to me in the measure of the working of his power. To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, so that I might make clear to the Gentiles the good news of the unending wealth of Christ:
And a great voice in heaven came to my ears, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: because he who says evil against our brothers before our God day and night is forced down.
And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword, with which he overcomes the nations: and he has rule over them with a rod of iron: and he is crushing with his feet the grapes of the strong wrath of God the Ruler of all. And on his robe and on his leg is a name, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

PSALM 145
Ps 145:1-21. A Psalm of praise to God for His mighty, righteous, and gracious government of all men, and of His humble and suffering people in particular.
1, 2. (Compare Ps 30:1).
bless thy name—celebrate Thy perfections (Ps 5:11). God is addressed as king, alluding to His government of men.
3. (Compare Ps 18:3; 48:1).
greatness—as displayed in His works.
4. shall declare—literally, "they shall declare," that is, all generations.
5. I will speak—or, "muse" (Ps 77:12; 119:15).
thy wondrous works—or, "words of thy wonders," that is, which described them (Ps 105:27, Margin).
6. terrible acts—which produce dread or fear.
7. memory—(Ps 6:5), remembrance, or what causes to be remembered.
righteousness—as in Ps 143:1, goodness according to covenant engagement.
8, 9. (Compare Ps 103:8; 111:4).
over all, &c.—rests on all His works.
10. bless—as in Ps 145:1, to praise with reverence, more than merely to praise.
11, 12. The declaration of God's glory is for the extension of His knowledge and perfections in the world.
13. (Compare Da 4:3, 34).
14. (Compare Ps 37:17; 54:4).
15, 16. eyes of … thee—or, look with expecting faith (Ps 104:27, 28).
17. holy … works—literally, "merciful" or "kind, goodness" (Ps 144:2) is the corresponding noun.
righteous—in a similar relation of meaning to "righteousness" (Ps 145:7).
18, 19. (Compare Ps 34:7, 10).
20. Those who fear Him (Ps 145:19) are those who are here said to love Him.
21. (Compare Ps 33:21).
all flesh—(Ps 65:2). The Psalm ends, as it began, with ascriptions of praise, in which the pious will ever delight to join.
