7 In God is my salvation, and my glory; the Rock of my strength, and my safe place.
Truly, the hills, and the noise of an army on the mountains, are a false hope: truly, in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.
Truly, his salvation is near to his worshippers; so that glory may be in our land.
In the Lord will all the seed of Israel get their rights, and they will give glory to him.
But your strength, O Lord, is round me, you are my glory and the lifter up of my head.
The Lord is living; praise be to my Rock, and let the God of my salvation be honoured.
<To the chief music-maker. Of the sons of Korah; put to Alamoth. A Song.> God is our harbour and our strength, a very present help in trouble.
Let your hope be in the Lord for ever: for the Lord Jah is an unchanging Rock.
This is the word of the Lord: Let not the wise man take pride in his wisdom, or the strong man in his strength, or the man of wealth in his wealth: But if any man has pride, let it be in this, that he has the wisdom to have knowledge of me, that I am the Lord, working mercy, giving true decisions, and doing righteousness in the earth: for in these things I have delight, says the Lord.
But far be it from me to have glory in anything, but only in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which this world has come to an end on the cross for me, and I for it.

Psalm 62
This psalm has nothing in it directly either of prayer or praise, nor does it appear upon what occasion it was penned, nor whether upon any particular occasion, whether mournful or joyful. But in it,
In singing it we should stir up ourselves to wait on God.
To the chief musician, to Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
Psa 62:1-7
In these verses we have,
Psa 62:8-12
Here we have David's exhortation to others to trust in God and wait upon him, as he had done. Those that have found the comfort of the ways of God themselves will invite others into those ways; there is enough in God for all the saints to draw from, and we shall have never the less for others sharing with us.
