16 Ye shall not tempt Jehovah your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as [in] the day of Massah, in the wilderness; When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness; where your fathers tempted [me], by proving [me], and saw my works forty years.
And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to go round the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became impatient on the way; and the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Why have ye brought us up out of Egypt that we should die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and no water, and our soul loathes this light bread.
