25 And it shall be our righteousness if we take heed to do all these commandments before Jehovah our God, as he hath commanded us.
in any case thou shalt return him the pledge at the going down of the sun, that he may sleep in his own upper garment and bless thee; and it shall be righteousness unto thee before Jehovah thy God.
For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own [righteousness], have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
Then stood up Phinehas and executed judgment, and the plague was stayed; And that was reckoned unto him for righteousness, from generation to generation, for evermore.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
And I gave them my statutes, and made known unto them mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them.
And he said to him, Thou hast answered right: this do and thou shalt live. But he, desirous of justifying himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
For Moses lays down in writing the righteousness which is of the law, The man who has practised those things shall live by them. But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down;
but the law is not on the principle of faith; but, He that shall have done these things shall live by them.
