16 For Job hath opened his mouth in vanity, and made words abundant without knowledge.
Surely thou hast spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the voice of [thy] words: -- I am clean without transgression; I am pure, and there is no iniquity in me; Lo, he findeth occasions of hostility against me, he counteth me for his enemy; He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. Behold, I will answer thee in this, thou art not right; for +God is greater than man.
Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were not with intelligence. Would that Job may be tried unto the end, because of [his] answers after the manner of evil men! For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth [his hands] among us, and multiplieth his words against ùGod.

Chapter 35
Job being still silent, Elihu follows his blow, and here, a third time, undertakes to show him that he had spoken amiss, and ought to recant. Three improper sayings he here charges him with, and returns answer to them distinctly:-
