10 But Jesus knowing [it] said to them, Why do ye trouble the woman? for she has wrought a good work toward me.
and let ours also learn to apply themselves to good works for necessary wants, that they may not be unfruitful.
The word [is] faithful, and I desire that thou insist strenuously on these things, that they who have believed God may take care to pay diligent attention to good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that [as to that] in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through [your] good works, [themselves] witnessing [them], glorify God in [the] day of visitation.
perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen.
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works.
They profess to know God, but in works deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and found worthless as to every good work.
borne witness to in good works, if she have brought up children, if she have exercised hospitality, if she have washed saints' feet, if she have imparted relief to the distressed, if she have diligently followed every good work.
The word [is] faithful: if any one aspires to exercise oversight, he desires a good work.
[so as] to walk worthily of the Lord unto all well-pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing by the true knowledge of God;
For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.
I would that they would even cut themselves off who throw you into confusion.
which is not another [one]; but there are some that trouble you, and desire to pervert the glad tidings of the Christ.
And turning to the woman he said to Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thy house; thou gavest me not water on my feet, but *she* has washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with her hair. Thou gavest me not a kiss, but *she* from the time I came in has not ceased kissing my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint, but *she* has anointed my feet with myrrh. For which cause I say to thee, Her many sins are forgiven; for she loved much; but he to whom little is forgiven loves little. And he said to her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that were with [them] at table began to say within themselves, Who is this who forgives also sins? And he said to the woman, Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace.
But Jesus said, Let her alone; why do ye trouble her? she has wrought a good work as to me;
