22 And being exceedingly grieved they began to say to him, each of them, Is it *I*, Lord?
And they began to be grieved, and to say to him, one by one, Is it *I*? [and another, Is it *I*?] But he answered and said to them, One of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.
And *they* began to question together among themselves who then it could be of them who was about to do this.
The disciples therefore looked one on another, doubting of whom he spoke. Now there was at table one of his disciples in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter makes a sign therefore to him to ask who it might be of whom he spoke. But he, leaning on the breast of Jesus, says to him, Lord, who is it?
He says to him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, art thou attached to me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Art thou attached to me? and said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I am attached to thee. Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.
