6 Righteousness preserveth him that is perfect in the way; but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
The integrity of the upright guideth them; but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroyeth them.
The righteousness of the perfect maketh plain his way; but the wicked falleth by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright delivereth them; but the treacherous are taken in their own craving.
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Let not the man of [evil] tongue be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the man of violence to [his] ruin.
His own iniquities shall take the wicked, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.
