Until the day dawn, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, And to the hill of frankincense.
The voice of my beloved! Behold, he cometh Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young hart. Behold, he standeth behind our wall, He looketh in through the windows, Glancing through the lattice.
on account of [the] bowels of mercy of our God; wherein [the] dayspring from on high has visited us,
The night is far spent, and the day is near; let us cast away therefore the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
For the law, having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually yearly, perfect those who approach.
