6 And one shall say unto him, What are those wounds in thy hands? And he will say, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with swords and spears, till the blood gushed out upon them.
For dogs have encompassed me; an assembly of evil-doers have surrounded me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thy nation and the chief priests have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?
(now it was [the] preparation of the passover; it was about the sixth hour;) and he says to the Jews, Behold your king! But they cried out, Take [him] away, take [him] away, crucify him. Pilate says to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then therefore he delivered him up to them, that he might be crucified; and they took Jesus and led him away.
And it causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bondmen, that they should give them a mark upon their right hand or upon their forehead; and that no one should be able to buy or sell save he that had the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
