30 Then Saul's H7586 anger H639 was kindled H2734 against Jonathan, H3083 and he said H559 unto him, Thou son H1121 of the perverse H5753 rebellious H4780 woman, do not I know H3045 that thou hast chosen H977 the son H1121 of Jesse H3448 to thine own confusion, H1322 and unto the confusion H1322 of thy mother's H517 nakedness? H6172
Proud H2086 and haughty H3093 scorner H3887 is his name, H8034 who dealeth H6213 in proud H2087 wrath. H5678
Wherefore, G5620 my G3450 beloved G27 brethren, G80 let G2077 every G3956 man G444 be G2077 swift G5036 to G1519 hear, G191 slow G1021 to G1519 speak, G2980 slow G1021 to G1519 wrath: G3709 For G1063 the wrath G3709 of man G435 worketh G2716 not G3756 the righteousness G1343 of God. G2316
He that is slow H750 to wrath H639 is of great H7227 understanding: H8394 but he that is hasty H7116 of spirit H7307 exalteth H7311 folly. H200
A man H1419 of great H1632 wrath H2534 shall suffer H5375 punishment: H6066 for if thou deliver H5337 him, yet thou must do it again. H3254
But G1161 I G1473 say G3004 unto you, G5213 That G3754 whosoever G3956 is angry G3710 with his G846 brother G80 without a cause G1500 shall be G2071 in danger G1777 of the judgment: G2920 and G1161 whosoever G3739 G302 shall say G2036 to his G846 brother, G80 Raca, G4469 shall be G2071 in danger G1777 of the council: G4892 but G1161 whosoever G3739 G302 shall say, G2036 Thou fool, G3474 shall be G2071 in danger G1777 of G1519 hell G1067 fire. But he will not do so daring a thing without consulting his faithful friend Jonathan; how he did this, and what passed between them, we have an account in this chapter, where we have as surprising instances of supernatural love as we had in the chapter before of unnatural hatred.
