20 Now therefore, let not my blood H1818 fall H5307 to the earth H776 before the face H6440 of the LORD: H3068 for the king H4428 of Israel H3478 is come out H3318 to seek H1245 a H259 flea, H6550 as when one doth hunt H7291 a partridge H7124 in the mountains. H2022
After H310 whom is the king H4428 of Israel H3478 come out? H3318 after H310 whom dost thou pursue? H7291 after H310 a dead H4191 dog, H3611 after H310 a H259 flea. H6550
He will keep H8104 the feet H7272 of his saints, H2623 and the wicked H7563 shall be silent H1826 in darkness; H2822 for by strength H3581 shall no man H376 prevail. H1396
Yet a man H120 is risen H6965 to pursue H7291 thee, and to seek H1245 thy soul: H5315 but the soul H5315 of my lord H113 shall be bound H6887 in the bundle H6872 of life H2416 with the LORD H3068 thy God; H430 and the souls H5315 of thine enemies, H341 them shall he sling out, H7049 as out of the middle H8432 H3709 of a sling. H7050
And G2532 while G2089 he G846 yet G2089 spake, G2980 lo, G2400 Judas, G2455 one G1520 of the twelve, G1427 came, G2064 and G2532 with G3326 him G846 a great G4183 multitude G3793 with G3326 swords G3162 and G2532 staves, G3586 from G575 the chief priests G749 and G2532 elders G4245 of the people. G2992
In G1722 that same G1565 hour G5610 said G2036 Jesus G2424 to the multitudes, G3793 Are ye come out G1831 as G5613 against G1909 a thief G3027 with G3326 swords G3162 and G2532 staves G3586 for to take G4815 me? G3165 I sat G2516 daily G2250 G2596 with G4314 you G5209 teaching G1321 in G1722 the temple, G2411 and G2532 ye laid G2902 no G3756 hold G2902 on me. G3165

1Sa 26:13-20
David having got safely from Saul's camp himself, and having brought with him proofs sufficient that he had been there, posts himself conveniently, so that they might hear him and yet not reach him (v. 13), and then begins to reason with them upon what had passed.
1Sa 26:21-25

Lastly, A palliative cure being thus made of the wound, they parted friends. Saul returned to Gibeah re infectâ-without accomplishing his design, and ashamed of the expedition he had made; but David could not take his word so far as to return with him. Those that have once been false are not easily trusted another time. Therefore David went on his way. And, after this parting, it does not appear that ever Saul and David saw one another again.
