15 And G1161 I G1473 will very gladly G2236 spend G1159 and G2532 be spent G1550 for G5228 you; G5590 G5216 though G1499 the more abundantly G4056 I love G25 you, G5209 the less G2276 I be loved. G25
Ye are G4729 not G3756 straitened G4729 in G1722 us, G2254 but G1161 ye are straitened G4729 in G1722 your own G5216 bowels. G4698 Now G1161 for a recompence G489 in the same, G846 (I speak G3004 as G5613 unto my children,) G5043 be G4115 ye G5210 also G2532 enlarged. G4115
Now G2235 ye are G2075 full, G2880 now G2235 ye are rich, G4147 ye have reigned as kings G936 without G5565 us: G2257 and G2532 I would to God G3785 G1065 ye did reign, G936 that G2443 we G2249 also G2532 might reign with G4821 you. G5213 For G1063 I think G1380 that G3754 God G2316 hath set forth G584 us G2248 the apostles G652 last, G2078 as G5613 it were appointed to death: G1935 for G3754 we are made G1096 a spectacle G2302 unto the world, G2889 and G2532 to angels, G32 and G2532 to men. G444 We G2249 are fools G3474 for G1223 Christ's G5547 sake, G1223 but G1161 ye G5210 are wise G5429 in G1722 Christ; G5547 we G2249 are weak, G772 but G1161 ye G5210 are strong; G2478 ye G5210 are honourable, G1741 but G1161 we G2249 are despised. G820 Even G891 unto this present G737 hour G5610 we G3983 both G2532 hunger, G3983 and G2532 thirst, G1372 and G2532 are naked, G1130 and G2532 are buffeted, G2852 and G2532 have no certain dwellingplace; G790 And G2532 labour, G2872 working G2038 with our own G2398 hands: G5495 being reviled, G3058 we bless; G2127 being persecuted, G1377 we suffer it: G430 Being defamed, G987 we intreat: G3870 we are made G1096 as G5613 the filth G4027 of the world, G2889 and are the offscouring G4067 of all things G3956 unto G2193 this day. G737 I write G1125 not G3756 these things G5023 to shame G1788 you, G5209 but G235 as G5613 my G3450 beloved G27 sons G5043 I warn G3560 you. For G1063 though G1437 ye have G2192 ten thousand G3463 instructors G3807 in G1722 Christ, G5547 yet G235 have ye not G3756 many G4183 fathers: G3962 for G1063 in G1722 Christ G5547 Jesus G2424 I G1473 have begotten G1080 you G5209 through G1223 the gospel. G2098 Wherefore G3767 I beseech G3870 you, G5209 be ye G1096 followers G3402 of me. G3450 For G1223 this G5124 cause G1223 have I sent G3992 unto you G5213 Timotheus, G5095 who G3739 is G2076 my G3450 beloved G27 son, G5043 and G2532 faithful G4103 in G1722 the Lord, G2962 who G3739 shall bring G363 you G5209 into remembrance G363 of my G3450 ways G3598 which G3588 be in G1722 Christ, G5547 as G2531 I teach G1321 every where G3837 in G1722 every G3956 church. G1577 Now G1161 some G5100 are puffed up, G5448 as though G5613 I G3450 would G2064 not G3361 come G2064 to G4314 you. G5209
The thief G2812 cometh G2064 not, G3756 but G1508 for to G2443 steal, G2813 and G2532 to kill, G2380 and G2532 to destroy: G622 I G1473 am come G2064 that G2443 they might have G2192 life, G2222 and G2532 that they might have G2192 it more abundantly. G4053 I G1473 am G1510 the good G2570 shepherd: G4166 the good G2570 shepherd G4166 giveth G5087 his G846 life G5590 for G5228 the sheep. G4263
Moreover Ahithophel H302 said H559 unto Absalom, H53 Let me now choose out H977 twelve H8147 H6240 thousand H505 men, H376 and I will arise H6965 and pursue H7291 after H310 David H1732 this night: H3915 And I will come H935 upon him while he is weary H3023 and weak H7504 handed, H3027 and will make him afraid: H2729 and all the people H5971 that are with him shall flee; H5127 and I will smite H5221 the king H4428 only: And I will bring back H7725 all the people H5971 unto thee: the man H376 whom thou seekest H1245 is as if all returned: H7725 so all the people H5971 shall be in peace. H7965 And the saying H1697 pleased H3474 Absalom H53 well, H5869 and all the elders H2205 of Israel. H3478

Commentary on 2 Corinthians 12 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 12
In this chapter the apostle proceeds in maintaining the honour of his apostleship. He magnified his office when there were those who vilified it. What he says in his own praise was only in his own justification and the necessary defence of the honour of his ministry, the preservation of which was necessary to its success. First, He makes mention of the favour God had shown him, the honour done him, the methods God took to keep him humble, and the use he made of this dispensation (v. 1-10). Then he addresses himself to the Corinthians, blaming them for what was faulty among them, and giving a large account of his behaviour and kind intentions towards them (v. 11-21).
2Cr 12:1-10
Here we may observe,
2Cr 12:11-21
In these verses the apostle addresses himself to the Corinthians two ways:-
