25 Thou knowest H3045 Abner H74 the son H1121 of Ner, H5369 that he came H935 to deceive H6601 thee, and to know H3045 thy going out H4161 and thy coming in, H4126 H3996 and to know H3045 all that thou doest. H6213
Blessed H1288 shalt thou be when thou comest in, H935 and blessed H1288 shalt thou be when thou goest out. H3318
And he said H559 unto them, Nay, but to see H7200 the nakedness H6172 of the land H776 ye are come. H935
And the princes H8269 of the Philistines H6430 were wroth H7107 with him; and the princes H8269 of the Philistines H6430 said H559 unto him, Make H7725 this fellow H376 return, H7725 that he may go again H7725 to his place H4725 which thou hast appointed H6485 him, and let him not go down H3381 with us to battle, H4421 lest in the battle H4421 he be an adversary H7854 to us: for wherewith should he reconcile H7521 himself unto his master? H113 should it not be with the heads H7218 of these men? H582 Is not this David, H1732 of whom they sang H6030 one to another in dances, H4246 saying, H559 Saul H7586 slew H5221 his thousands, H505 and David H1732 his ten thousands? H7233 Then Achish H397 called H7121 David, H1732 and said H559 unto him, Surely, as the LORD H3068 liveth, H2416 thou hast been upright, H3477 and thy going out H3318 and thy coming in H935 with me in the host H4264 is good H2896 in my sight: H5869 for I have not found H4672 evil H7451 in thee since the day H3117 of thy coming H935 unto me unto this day: H3117 nevertheless the lords H5633 favour H2896 thee not. H5869
And when Abner H74 was returned H7725 to Hebron, H2275 Joab H3097 took him aside H5186 in H413 H8432 the gate H8179 to speak H1696 with him quietly, H7987 and smote H5221 him there under the fifth H2570 rib, that he died, H4191 for the blood H1818 of Asahel H6214 his brother. H251
And the princes H8269 of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 said H559 unto Hanun H2586 their lord, H113 Thinkest H5869 thou that David H1732 doth honour H3513 thy father, H1 that he hath sent H7971 comforters H5162 unto thee? hath not David H1732 rather sent H7971 his servants H5650 unto thee, to H5668 search H2713 the city, H5892 and to spy it out, H7270 and to overthrow H2015 it?
Until I come H935 and take you away H3947 to a land H776 like your own land, H776 a land H776 of corn H1715 and wine, H8492 a land H776 of bread H3899 and vineyards, H3754 a land H776 of oil H3323 olive H2132 and of honey, H1706 that ye may live, H2421 and not die: H4191 and hearken H8085 not unto Hezekiah, H2396 when he persuadeth H5496 you, saying, H559 The LORD H3068 will deliver H5337 us.
Then G3767 answered G611 them G846 the Pharisees, G5330 Are G4105 ye G5210 also G2532 deceived? G4105 G3361

2Sa 3:7-21
Here,
2Sa 3:22-39
We have here an account of the murder of Abner by Joab, and David's deep resentment of it.
