6 And G1161 when he had tarried G1304 among G1722 them G846 more G4119 than G2228 ten G1176 days, G2250 he went down G2597 unto G1519 Caesarea; G2542 and the next day G1887 sitting G2523 on G1909 the judgment seat G968 commanded G2753 Paul G3972 to be brought. G71
Therefore, G3767 when they G846 were come G4905 hither, G1759 without G4160 any G3367 delay G311 on the morrow G1836 I sat G2523 on G1909 the judgment seat, G968 and commanded G2753 the man G435 to be brought forth. G71
When G1161 he G846 was set down G2521 on G1909 the judgment seat, G968 his G846 wife G1135 sent G649 unto G4314 him, G846 saying, G3004 G2532 Have thou G4671 nothing G3367 to do with that G1565 just man: G1342 for G1063 I have suffered G3958 many things G4183 this day G4594 in G2596 a dream G3677 because G1223 of him. G846
When Pilate G4091 therefore G3767 heard G191 that G5126 saying, G3056 he brought G71 Jesus G2424 forth, G1854 and G2532 sat down G2523 in G1909 the judgment seat G968 in G1519 a place G5117 that is called G3004 the Pavement, G3038 but G1161 in the Hebrew, G1447 Gabbatha. G1042
And G1161 when Gallio G1058 was the deputy G445 of Achaia, G882 the Jews G2453 made insurrection G2721 with one accord against G3661 Paul, G3972 and G2532 brought G71 him G846 to G1909 the judgment seat, G968 Saying, G3004 G3754 This G3778 fellow persuadeth G374 men G444 to worship G4576 God G2316 contrary G3844 to the law. G3551 And G1161 when Paul G3972 was now about G3195 to open G455 his mouth, G4750 Gallio G1058 said G2036 unto G4314 the Jews, G2453 If G1487 G3303 G3767 it were G2258 a G5100 matter of wrong G92 or G2228 wicked G4190 lewdness, G4467 O G5599 ye Jews, G2453 reason G2596 G3056 would G302 that I should bear G430 with you: G5216 But G1161 if G1487 it be G2076 a question G2213 of G4012 words G3056 and G2532 names, G3686 and G2532 of G2596 your G5209 law, G3551 look ye G3700 G846 to it; for G1063 I G1473 will be G1014 G1511 no G3756 judge G2923 of such G5130 matters. And G2532 he drave G556 them G846 from G575 the judgment seat. G968 Then G1161 all G3956 the Greeks G1672 took G1949 Sosthenes, G4988 the chief ruler of the synagogue, G752 and beat G5180 him before G1715 the judgment seat. G968 And G2532 Gallio G1058 cared G3199 for none G3762 of those things. G5130
For G1063 we G2248 must G1163 all G3956 appear G5319 before G1715 the judgment seat G968 of Christ; G5547 that G2443 every one G1538 may receive G2865 the things done in G1223 his body, G4983 according G4314 to that G3739 he hath done, G4238 whether G1535 it be good G18 or G1535 bad. G2556

Commentary on Acts 25 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 25
Some think that Felix was turned out, and Festus succeeded him, quickly after Paul's imprisonment, and that the two years mentioned in the close of the foregoing chapter are to be reckoned from the beginning of Nero's reign; but it seems more natural to compute them from Paul's being delivered into the hands of Felix. However, we have here much the same management of Paul's case as we had in the foregoing chapter; cognizance is here taken of it,
Act 25:1-12
We commonly say, "New lords, new laws, new customs;' but here was a new governor, and yet Paul had the same treatment from him that he had from the former, and no better. Festus, like Felix, is not so just to him as he should have been, for he does not release him; and yet not so unjust to him as the Jews would have had him to be, for he will not condemn him to die, nor expose him to their rage. Here is,
Act 25:13-27
We have here the preparation that was made for another hearing of Paul before King Agrippa, not in order to his giving judgment upon him, but in order to his giving advice concerning him, or rather only to gratify his curiosity. Christ had said, concerning his followers, that they should be brought before governors and kings. In the former part of this chapter Paul was brought before Festus the governor, here before Agrippa the king, for a testimony to both. Here is,
