20 Then said H559 he, Knowest H3045 thou wherefore I come H935 unto thee? and now will I return H7725 to fight H3898 with the prince H8269 of Persia: H6539 and when I am gone forth, H3318 lo, the prince H8269 of Grecia H3120 shall come. H935
And as I was considering, H995 behold, an he H5795 goat H6842 came H935 from the west H4628 on the face H6440 of the whole earth, H776 and touched H5060 not the ground: H776 and the goat H6842 had a notable H2380 horn H7161 between his eyes. H5869 And he came H935 to the ram H352 that had H1167 two horns, H7161 which I had seen H7200 standing H5975 before H6440 the river, H180 and ran H7323 unto him in the fury H2534 of his power. H3581 And I saw H7200 him come H5060 close unto H681 the ram, H352 and he was moved with choler H4843 against him, and smote H5221 the ram, H352 and brake H7665 his two H8147 horns: H7161 and there was no power H3581 in the ram H352 to stand H5975 before H6440 him, but he cast him down H7993 to the ground, H776 and stamped H7429 upon him: and there was none that could deliver H5337 the ram H352 out of his hand. H3027 Therefore the he H6842 goat H5795 waxed very H3966 great: H1431 and when he was strong, H6105 the great H1419 horn H7161 was broken; H7665 and for it came up H5927 four H702 notable ones H2380 toward the four H702 winds H7307 of heaven. H8064
And now will I shew H5046 thee the truth. H571 Behold, there shall stand up H5975 yet three H7969 kings H4428 in Persia; H6539 and the fourth H7243 shall be far H6239 richer H6238 than they all: H1419 and by his strength H2393 through his riches H6239 he shall stir up H5782 all against the realm H4438 of Grecia. H3120 And a mighty H1368 king H4428 shall stand up, H5975 that shall rule H4910 with great H7227 dominion, H4474 and do H6213 according to his will. H7522 And when he shall stand up, H5975 his kingdom H4438 shall be broken, H7665 and shall be divided H2673 toward the four H702 winds H7307 of heaven; H8064 and not to his posterity, H319 nor according to his dominion H4915 which he ruled: H4910 for his kingdom H4438 shall be plucked up, H5428 even for others H312 beside those.

Commentary on Daniel 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
This chapter and the two next (which conclude this book) make up one entire vision and prophecy, which was communicated to Daniel for the use of the church, not by signs and figures, as before (ch. 7 and 8), but by express words; and this was about two years after the vision in the foregoing chapter. Daniel prayed daily, but had a vision only now and then. In this chapter we have some things introductory to the prophecy, in the eleventh chapter the particular predictions, and ch. 12 the conclusion of it. This chapter shows us,
Dan 10:1-9
This vision is dated in the third year of Cyrus, that is, of his reign after the conquest of Babylon, his third year since Daniel became acquainted with him and a subject to him. Here is,
Dan 10:10-21
Much ado here is to bring Daniel to be able to bear what Christ has to say to him. Still we have him in a fright, hardly and very slowly recovering himself; but he is still answered and supported with good words and comfortable words. Let us see how Daniel is by degrees brought to himself, and gather up the several passages that are to the same purport.
