5 They have corrupted H7843 themselves, their spot H3971 is not the spot of his children: H1121 they are a perverse H6141 and crooked H6618 generation. H1755
Then G1161 Jesus G2424 answered G611 and said, G2036 O G5599 faithless G571 and G2532 perverse G1294 generation, G1074 how long G2193 G4219 shall I be G2071 with G3326 you? G5216 how long G2193 G4219 shall I suffer G430 you? G5216 bring G5342 him G846 hither G5602 to me. G3427
Ah H1945 sinful H2398 nation, H1471 a people H5971 laden H3515 with iniquity, H5771 a seed H2233 of evildoers, H7489 children H1121 that are corrupters: H7843 they have forsaken H5800 H853 the LORD, H3068 they have provoked H5006 H853 the Holy One H6918 of Israel H3478 unto anger, H5006 they are gone away H2114 backward. H268
For I know H3045 that after H310 my death H4194 ye will utterly H7843 corrupt H7843 yourselves, and turn aside H5493 from the way H1870 which I have commanded H6680 you; and evil H7451 will befall H7122 you in the latter H319 days; H3117 because ye will do H6213 evil H7451 in the sight H5869 of the LORD, H3068 to provoke him to anger H3707 through the work H4639 of your hands. H3027
That G2443 ye may be G1096 blameless G273 and G2532 harmless, G185 the sons G5043 of God, G2316 without rebuke, G298 in G1722 the midst G3319 of a crooked G4646 and G2532 perverse G1294 nation, G1074 among G1722 whom G3739 ye shine G5316 as G5613 lights G5458 in G1722 the world; G2889
And G1161 Jesus G2424 answering G611 said, G2036 O G5599 faithless G571 and G2532 perverse G1294 generation, G1074 how G2193 long G4219 shall I be G2071 with G4314 you, G5209 and G2532 suffer G430 you? G5216 Bring G4317 thy G4675 son G5207 hither. G5602
But G1161 I fear, G5399 lest G3381 by any means, G4458 as G5613 the serpent G3789 beguiled G1818 Eve G2096 through G1722 his G846 subtilty, G3834 so G3779 your G5216 minds G3540 should be corrupted G5351 from G575 the simplicity G572 that is in G1519 Christ. G5547
And God H430 looked H7200 upon the earth, H776 and, behold, it was corrupt; H7843 for all flesh H1320 had corrupted H7843 his way H1870 upon the earth. H776
But G1161 when he saw G1492 many G4183 of the Pharisees G5330 and G2532 Sadducees G4523 come G2064 to G1909 his G846 baptism, G908 he said G2036 unto them, G846 O generation G1081 of vipers, G2191 who G5101 hath warned G5263 you G5213 to flee G5343 from G575 the wrath G3709 to come? G3195
They have deeply H6009 corrupted H7843 themselves, as in the days H3117 of Gibeah: H1390 therefore he will remember H2142 their iniquity, H5771 he will visit H6485 their sins. H2403
And might not be as their fathers, H1 a stubborn H5637 and rebellious H4784 generation; H1755 a generation H1755 that set H3559 not their heart H3820 aright, H3559 and whose spirit H7307 was not stedfast H539 with God. H410
And it came to pass, when the judge H8199 was dead, H4194 that they returned, H7725 and corrupted H7843 themselves more than their fathers, H1 in following H3212 H310 other H312 gods H430 to serve H5647 them, and to bow down H7812 unto them; they ceased H5307 not from their own doings, H4611 nor from their stubborn H7186 way. H1870
Ye have been rebellious H4784 against the LORD H3068 from the day H3117 that I knew H3045 you.

Commentary on Deuteronomy 32 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 32
In this chapter we have,
Deu 32:1-6
Here is,
Deu 32:7-14
Moses, having in general represented God to them as their great benefactor, whom they were bound in gratitude to observe and obey, in these verses gives particular instances of God's kindness to them and concern for them.
Three things are here enlarged upon as instances of God's kindness to his people Israel, and strong obligations upon them never to forsake him:-
Deu 32:15-18
We have here a description of the apostasy of Israel from God, which would shortly come to pass, and to which already they had a disposition. One would have thought that a people under so many obligations to their God, in duty, gratitude, and interest, would never have turned from him; but, alas! they turned aside quickly. Here are two great instances of their wickedness, and each of them amounted to an apostasy from God:-
Deu 32:19-25
The method of this song follows the method of the predictions in the foregoing chapter, and therefore, after the revolt of Israel from God, described in the foregoing verses, here follow immediately the resolves of divine Justice concerning them; we deceive ourselves if we think that God will be thus mocked by a foolish faithless people, that play fast and loose with him.
Deu 32:26-38
After many terrible threatenings of deserved wrath and vengeance, we have here surprising intimations of mercy, undeserved mercy, which rejoices against judgment, and by which it appears that God has no pleasure in the death of sinners, but would rather they should turn and live.
Deu 32:39-43
This conclusion of the song speaks three things:
Deu 32:44-52
