25 But I will strengthen H2388 the arms H2220 of the king H4428 of Babylon, H894 and the arms H2220 of Pharaoh H6547 shall fall down; H5307 and they shall know H3045 that I am the LORD, H3068 when I shall put H5414 my sword H2719 into the hand H3027 of the king H4428 of Babylon, H894 and he shall stretch it out H5186 upon the land H776 of Egypt. H4714
The LORD H3068 is known H3045 by the judgment H4941 which he executeth: H6213 the wicked H7563 is snared H5367 in the work H6467 of his own hands. H3709 Higgaion. H1902 Selah. H5542
Thus will I execute H6213 judgments H8201 in Egypt: H4714 and they shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
And I will scatter H6327 the Egyptians H4714 among the nations, H1471 and disperse H2219 them among the countries; H776 and they shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
And thou shalt come up H5927 against my people H5971 of Israel, H3478 as a cloud H6051 to cover H3680 the land; H776 it shall be in the latter H319 days, H3117 and I will bring H935 thee against my land, H776 that the heathen H1471 may know H3045 me, when I shall be sanctified H6942 in thee, O Gog, H1463 before their eyes. H5869
Thus will I magnify H1431 myself, and sanctify H6942 myself; and I will be known H3045 in the eyes H5869 of many H7227 nations, H1471 and they shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
And I will set H5414 my glory H3519 among the heathen, H1471 and all the heathen H1471 shall see H7200 my judgment H4941 that I have executed, H6213 and my hand H3027 that I have laid H7760 upon them. So the house H1004 of Israel H3478 shall know H3045 that I am the LORD H3068 their God H430 from that day H3117 and forward. H1973

Commentary on Ezekiel 30 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 30
In this chapter we have,
It is all much to the same purport with what we had before.
Eze 30:1-19
The prophecy of the destruction of Egypt is here very full and particular, as well as, in the general, very frightful. What can protect a provoking people when the righteous God comes forth to contend with them?
The close of this prediction leaves,
Eze 30:20-26
This short prophecy of the weakening of the power of Egypt was delivered about the time that the army of the Egyptians, which attempted to raise the siege of Jerusalem, was frustrated in its enterprises, and returned re infectâ-without accomplishing their purpose; whereupon the king of Babylon renewed the siege and carried his point. The kingdom of Egypt was very ancient, and had been for many ages considerable. That of Babylon had but lately arrived at its great pomp and power, being built upon the ruins of the kingdom of Assyria. Now it is with them as it is with families and states, some are growing up, others are declining and going back; one must increase and the others must of course decrease.
