4 And mine eye H5869 shall not spare H2347 thee, neither will I have pity: H2550 but I will recompense H5414 thy ways H1870 upon thee, and thine abominations H8441 shall be in the midst H8432 of thee: and ye shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
But as for them whose heart H3820 walketh H1980 after the heart H3820 of their detestable things H8251 and their abominations, H8441 I will recompense H5414 their way H1870 upon their own heads, H7218 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
And the slain H2491 shall fall H5307 in the midst H8432 of you, and ye shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
Wherefore, as I live, H2416 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD; H3069 Surely, because thou hast defiled H2930 my sanctuary H4720 with all thy detestable things, H8251 and with all thine abominations, H8441 therefore will I also diminish H1639 thee; neither shall mine eye H5869 spare, H2347 neither will I have any pity. H2550
The LORD H3068 hath also a controversy H7379 with Judah, H3063 and will punish H6485 Jacob H3290 according to his ways; H1870 according to his doings H4611 will he recompense H7725 him.
The days H3117 of visitation H6486 are come, H935 the days H3117 of recompence H7966 are come; H935 Israel H3478 shall know H3045 it: the prophet H5030 is a fool, H191 the spiritual H7307 man H376 is mad, H7696 for the multitude H7230 of thine iniquity, H5771 and the great H7227 hatred. H4895
Because thou hast not remembered H2142 the days H3117 of thy youth, H5271 but hast fretted H7264 me in all these things; behold, H1887 therefore I also will recompense H5414 thy way H1870 upon thine head, H7218 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD: H3069 and thou shalt not commit H6213 this lewdness H2154 above all thine abominations. H8441
And as for me also, mine eye H5869 shall not spare, H2347 neither will I have pity, H2550 but I will recompense H5414 their way H1870 upon their head. H7218
The king H4428 shall mourn, H56 and the prince H5387 shall be clothed H3847 with desolation, H8077 and the hands H3027 of the people H5971 of the land H776 shall be troubled: H926 I will do H6213 unto them after their way, H1870 and according to their deserts H4941 will I judge H8199 them; and they shall know H3045 that I am the LORD. H3068
For I will no more pity H2550 the inhabitants H3427 of the land, H776 saith H5002 the LORD: H3068 but, lo, I will deliver H4672 the men H120 every one H376 into his neighbour's H7453 hand, H3027 and into the hand H3027 of his king: H4428 and they shall smite H3807 the land, H776 and out of their hand H3027 I will not deliver H5337 them.
I the LORD H3068 have spoken H1696 it: it shall come to pass, H935 and I will do H6213 it; I will not go back, H6544 neither will I spare, H2347 neither will I repent; H5162 according to thy ways, H1870 and according to thy doings, H5949 shall they judge H8199 thee, saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
Therefore have I poured out H8210 mine indignation H2195 upon them; I have consumed H3615 them with the fire H784 of my wrath: H5678 their own way H1870 have I recompensed H5414 upon their heads, H7218 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
And mine eye H5869 shall not spare, H2347 neither will I have pity: H2550 I will recompense H5414 thee according to thy ways H1870 and thine abominations H8441 that are in the midst H8432 of thee; and ye shall know H3045 that I am the LORD H3068 that smiteth. H5221
For many H7227 nations H1471 and great H1419 kings H4428 shall serve H5647 themselves of them also: and I will recompense H7999 them according to their deeds, H6467 and according to the works H4639 of their own hands. H3027

Commentary on Ezekiel 7 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 7
In this chapter the approaching ruin of the land of Israel is most particularly foretold in affecting expressions often repeated, that if possible they might be awakened by repentance to prevent it. The prophet must tell them,
Eze 7:1-15
We have here fair warning given of the destruction of the land of Israel, which was now hastening on apace. God, by the prophet, not only sends notice of it, but will have it inculcated in the same expressions, to show that the thing is certain, that it is near, that the prophet is himself affected with it and desires they should be so too, but finds them deaf, and stupid, and unaffected. When the town is on fire men do no seek for fine words and quaint expressions in which to give an account of it, but cry about the streets, with a loud and lamentable voice, "Fire! fire!' So the prophet here proclaims, An end! an end! it has come, it has come; behold, it has come. He that hath ears to hear let him hear.
Eze 7:16-22
We have attended the fate of those that are cut off, and are now to attend the flight of those that have an opportunity of escaping the danger; some of them shall escape (v. 16), but what the better? As good die once as, in a miserable life, die a thousand deaths, and escape only like Cain to be fugitives and vagabonds, and afraid of being slain by every one they meet; so shall these be.
Eze 7:23-27
