9 And out H4480 of the ground H127 made H6779 the LORD H3068 God H430 to grow H6779 every tree H6086 that is pleasant H2530 to the sight, H4758 and good H2896 for food; H3978 the tree H6086 of life H2416 also in the midst H8432 of the garden, H1588 and the tree H6086 of knowledge H1847 of good H2896 and evil. H7451
And the LORD H3068 God H430 said, H559 Behold, H2005 the man H120 is become as one H259 of us, to know H3045 good H2896 and evil: H7451 and now, lest he put forth H7971 his hand, H3027 and take H3947 also of the tree H6086 of life, H2416 and eat, H398 and live H2425 for ever: H5769
He that hath G2192 an ear, G3775 let him hear G191 what G5101 the Spirit G4151 saith G3004 unto the churches; G1577 To him G846 that overcometh G3528 will I give G1325 to eat G5315 of G1537 the tree G3586 of life, G2222 which G3739 is G2076 in G1722 the midst G3319 of the paradise G3857 of God. G2316
In G1722 the midst G3319 of the street G4113 of it, G846 and G2532 on either G2532 side G1782 G1782 of the river, G4215 was there the tree G3586 of life, G2222 which bare G4160 twelve G1427 manner of fruits, G2590 and yielded G591 her G846 fruit G2590 every G2596 G1538 G1520 month: G3376 and G2532 the leaves G5444 of the tree G3586 were for G1519 the healing G2322 of the nations. G1484
She is a tree H6086 of life H2416 to them that lay hold H2388 upon her: and happy H833 is every one that retaineth H8551 her.
The fruit H6529 of the righteous H6662 is a tree H6086 of life; H2416 and he that winneth H3947 souls H5315 is wise. H2450
The cedars H730 in the garden H1588 of God H430 could not hide H6004 him: the fir trees H1265 were not like H1819 his boughs, H5589 and the chesnut trees H6196 were not like his branches; H6288 nor any tree H6086 in the garden H1588 of God H430 was like H1819 unto him in his beauty. H3308 I have made H6213 him fair H3303 by the multitude H7230 of his branches: H1808 so that all the trees H6086 of Eden, H5731 that were in the garden H1588 of God, H430 envied H7065 him.
I made the nations H1471 to shake H7493 at the sound H6963 of his fall, H4658 when I cast him down H3381 to hell H7585 with them that descend H3381 into the pit: H953 and all the trees H6086 of Eden, H5731 the choice H4005 and best H2896 of Lebanon, H3844 all that drink H8354 water, H4325 shall be comforted H5162 in the nether parts H8482 of the earth. H776
And by the river H5158 upon the bank H8193 thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow H5927 all trees H6086 for meat, H3978 whose leaf H5929 shall not fade, H5034 neither shall the fruit H6529 thereof be consumed: H8552 it shall bring forth new fruit H1069 according to his months, H2320 because their waters H4325 they issued out H3318 of the sanctuary: H4720 and the fruit H6529 thereof shall be for meat, H3978 and the leaf H5929 thereof for medicine. H8644
To whom art thou thus like H1819 in glory H3519 and in greatness H1433 among the trees H6086 of Eden? H5731 yet shalt thou be brought down H3381 with the trees H6086 of Eden H5731 unto the nether parts H8482 of the earth: H776 thou shalt lie H7901 in the midst H8432 of the uncircumcised H6189 with them that be slain H2491 by the sword. H2719 This is Pharaoh H6547 and all his multitude, H1995 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
And it shall be our righteousness, H6666 if we observe H8104 to do H6213 all these H2063 commandments H4687 before H6440 the LORD H3068 our God, H430 as he hath commanded H6680 us.

Commentary on Genesis 2 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 2
This chapter is an appendix to the history of the creation, more particularly explaining and enlarging upon that part of the history which relates immediately to man, the favourite of this lower world. We have in it,
Gen 2:1-3
We have here,
Gen 2:4-7
In these verses,
Gen 2:8-15
Man consisting of body and soul, a body made out of the earth and a rational immortal soul the breath of heaven, we have, in these verses, the provision that was made for the happiness of both; he that made him took care to make him happy, if he could but have kept himself so and known when he was well off. That part of man by which he is allied to the world of sense was made happy; for he was put in the paradise of God: that part by which he is allied to the world of spirits was well provided for; for he was taken into covenant with God. Lord, what is man that he should be thus dignified-man that is a worm! Here we have,
Gen 2:16-17
Observe here,
Thus easy, thus happy, was man in a state of innocency, having all that heart could wish to make him so. How good was God to him! How many favours did he load him with! How easy were the laws he gave him! How kind the covenant he made with him! Yet man, being in honour, understood not his own interest, but soon became as the beasts that perish.
