14 But now the LORD H3068 hath spoken, H1696 saying, H559 Within three H7969 years, H8141 as the years H8141 of an hireling, H7916 and the glory H3519 of Moab H4124 shall be contemned, H7034 with all that great H7227 multitude; H1995 and the remnant H7605 shall be very H4592 small H4213 and feeble. H3808 H3524
For thus hath the Lord H136 said H559 unto me, Within a year, H8141 according to the years H8141 of an hireling, H7916 and all the glory H3519 of Kedar H6938 shall fail: H3615
And Haman H2001 told H5608 them of the glory H3519 of his riches, H6239 and the multitude H7230 of his children, H1121 and all the things wherein the king H4428 had promoted H1431 him, and how he had advanced H5375 him above the princes H8269 and servants H5650 of the king. H4428
For before the child H5288 shall know H3045 to refuse H3988 the evil, H7451 and choose H977 the good, H2896 the land H127 that thou abhorrest H6973 shall be H6440 forsaken H5800 of both H8147 her kings. H4428
My heart H3820 shall cry out H2199 for Moab; H4124 his fugitives H1280 shall flee unto Zoar, H6820 an heifer H5697 of three years old: H7992 for by the mounting up H4608 of Luhith H3872 with weeping H1065 shall they go it up; H5927 for in the way H1870 of Horonaim H2773 they shall raise up H5782 a cry H2201 of destruction. H7667
And in that day H3117 it shall come to pass, that the glory H3519 of Jacob H3290 shall be made thin, H1809 and the fatness H4924 of his flesh H1320 shall wax lean. H7329
Thus saith H559 the LORD, H3068 Let not the wise H2450 man glory H1984 in his wisdom, H2451 neither let the mighty H1368 man glory H1984 in his might, H1369 let not the rich H6223 man glory H1984 in his riches: H6239
And Moab H4124 shall be destroyed H8045 from being a people, H5971 because he hath magnified H1431 himself against the LORD. H3068
Woe H188 be unto thee, O Moab! H4124 the people H5971 of Chemosh H3645 perisheth: H6 for thy sons H1121 are taken H3947 captives, H7628 and thy daughters H1323 captives. H7633 Yet will I bring again H7725 the captivity H7622 of Moab H4124 in the latter H319 days, H3117 saith H5002 the LORD. H3068 Thus far H2008 is the judgment H4941 of Moab. H4124
Take ye the spoil H962 of silver, H3701 take the spoil H962 of gold: H2091 for there is none end H7097 of the store H8498 and glory H3519 out of all the pleasant H2532 furniture. H3627 She is empty, H950 and void, H4003 and waste: H1110 and the heart H3820 melteth, H4549 and the knees H1290 smite together, H6375 and much pain H2479 is in all loins, H4975 and the faces H6440 of them all gather H6908 blackness.
