11 The LORD H3068 said, H559 Verily H3808 H518 it shall be well H2896 with thy remnant; H8281 H8293 verily H518 I will cause the enemy H341 to entreat H6293 thee well in the time H6256 of evil H7451 and in the time H6256 of affliction. H6869
For I know H3045 the thoughts H4284 that I think H2803 toward you, saith H5002 the LORD, H3068 thoughts H4284 of peace, H7965 and not of evil, H7451 to give H5414 you an expected H8615 end. H319 Then shall ye call H7121 upon me, and ye shall go H1980 and pray H6419 unto me, and I will hearken H8085 unto you. And ye shall seek H1245 me, and find H4672 me, when ye shall search H1875 for me with all your heart. H3824 And I will be found H4672 of you, saith H5002 the LORD: H3068 and I will turn away H7725 your captivity, H7622 H7622 and I will gather H6908 you from all the nations, H1471 and from all the places H4725 whither I have driven H5080 you, saith H5002 the LORD; H3068 and I will bring you again H7725 into the place H4725 whence I caused you to be carried away captive. H1540
Trust H982 in the LORD, H3068 and do H6213 good; H2896 so shalt thou dwell H7931 in the land, H776 and verily H530 thou shalt be fed. H7462 Delight H6026 thyself also in the LORD; H3068 and he shall give H5414 thee the desires H4862 of thine heart. H3820 Commit H1556 thy way H1870 unto the LORD; H3068 trust H982 also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. H6213 And he shall bring forth H3318 thy righteousness H6664 as the light, H216 and thy judgment H4941 as the noonday. H6672 Rest H1826 in the LORD, H3068 and wait patiently H2342 for him: fret H2734 not thyself because of him who prospereth H6743 in his way, H1870 because of the man H376 who bringeth H6213 wicked devices H4209 to pass. H6213 Cease H7503 from anger, H639 and forsake H5800 wrath: H2534 fret H2734 not thyself in any wise H389 to do evil. H7489 For evildoers H7489 shall be cut off: H3772 but those that wait H6960 upon the LORD, H3068 they shall inherit H3423 the earth. H776 For yet a little while, H4592 and the wicked H7563 shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider H995 his place, H4725 and it shall not be. But the meek H6035 shall inherit H3423 the earth; H776 and shall delight H6026 themselves in the abundance H7230 of peace. H7965
Now Nebuchadrezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 gave charge H6680 concerning Jeremiah H3414 to H3027 Nebuzaradan H5018 the captain H7227 of the guard, H2876 saying, H559 Take H3947 him, and look well H5869 H7760 to him, and do H6213 him no harm; H3972 H7451 but do H6213 unto him even as he shall say H1696 unto thee.
And the captain H7227 of the guard H2876 took H3947 Jeremiah, H3414 and said H559 unto him, The LORD H3068 thy God H430 hath pronounced H1696 this evil H7451 upon this place. H4725 Now the LORD H3068 hath brought H935 it, and done H6213 according as he hath said: H1696 because ye have sinned H2398 against the LORD, H3068 and have not obeyed H8085 his voice, H6963 therefore this thing H1697 is come upon you. And now, behold, I loose H6605 thee this day H3117 from the chains H246 which were upon thine hand. H3027 If it seem good H2896 H5869 unto thee to come H935 with me into Babylon, H894 come; H935 and I will look well H7760 H5869 unto thee: but if it seem ill H7489 H5869 unto thee to come H935 with me into Babylon, H894 forbear: H2308 behold, H7200 all the land H776 is before H6440 thee: whither it seemeth H413 good H2896 and convenient H3477 H5869 for thee to go, H3212 thither go. H3212 Now while he was not yet gone back, H7725 he said, Go back H7725 also to Gedaliah H1436 the son H1121 of Ahikam H296 the son H1121 of Shaphan, H8227 whom the king H4428 of Babylon H894 hath made governor H6485 over the cities H5892 of Judah, H3063 and dwell H3427 with him among H8432 the people: H5971 or go H3212 wheresoever it seemeth convenient H3477 H5869 unto thee to go. H3212 So the captain H7227 of the guard H2876 gave H5414 him victuals H737 and a reward, H4864 and let him go. H7971 Then went H935 Jeremiah H3414 unto Gedaliah H1436 the son H1121 of Ahikam H296 to Mizpah; H4708 and dwelt H3427 with him among H8432 the people H5971 that were left H7604 in the land. H776

Commentary on Jeremiah 15 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 15
When we left the prophet, in the close of the foregoing chapter, so pathetically poring out his prayers before God, we had reason to hope that in this chapter we should find God reconciled to the land and the prophet brought into a quiet composed frame; but, to our great surprise, we find it much otherwise as to both.
Jer 15:1-9
We scarcely find any where more pathetic expressions of divine wrath against a provoking people than we have here in these verses. The prophet had prayed earnestly for them, and found some among them to join with him; and yet not so much as a reprieve was gained, nor the least mitigation of the judgment; but this answer is given to the prophet's prayers, that the decree had gone forth, was irreversible, and would shortly be executed. Observe here,
Jer 15:10-14
Jeremiah has now returned from his public work and retired into his closet; what passed between him and his God there we have an account of in these and the following verses, which he published afterwards, to affect the people with the weight and importance of his messages to them. Here is,
Jer 15:15-21
Here, as before, we have,
