10 Deck H5710 thyself now with majesty H1347 and excellency; H1363 and array H3847 thyself with glory H1935 and beauty. H1926
The LORD H3068 reigneth, H4427 he is clothed H3847 with majesty; H1348 the LORD H3068 is clothed H3847 with strength, H5797 wherewith he hath girded H247 himself: the world H8398 also is stablished, H3559 that it cannot be moved. H4131
And thou shalt make H6213 holy H6944 garments H899 for Aaron H175 thy brother H251 for glory H3519 and for beauty. H8597
Thine, O LORD, H3068 is the greatness, H1420 and the power, H1369 and the glory, H8597 and the victory, H5331 and the majesty: H1935 for all that is in the heaven H8064 and in the earth H776 is thine; thine is the kingdom, H4467 O LORD, H3068 and thou art exalted H4984 as head H7218 above all.
His glory H3519 is great H1419 in thy salvation: H3444 honour H1935 and majesty H1926 hast thou laid H7737 upon him.
Gird H2296 thy sword H2719 upon thy thigh, H3409 O most mighty, H1368 with thy glory H1935 and thy majesty. H1926 And in thy majesty H1926 ride H7392 prosperously H6743 because H1697 of truth H571 and meekness H6037 and righteousness; H6664 and thy right hand H3225 shall teach H3384 thee terrible things. H3372
Let thy work H6467 appear H7200 unto thy servants, H5650 and thy glory H1926 unto their children. H1121 And let the beauty H5278 of the LORD H3068 our God H430 be upon us: and establish H3559 thou the work H4639 of our hands H3027 upon us; yea, the work H4639 of our hands H3027 establish H3559 thou it.
Bless H1288 the LORD, H3068 O my soul. H5315 O LORD H3068 my God, H430 thou art very H3966 great; H1431 thou art clothed H3847 with honour H1935 and majesty. H1926 Who coverest H5844 thyself with light H216 as with a garment: H8008 who stretchest out H5186 the heavens H8064 like a curtain: H3407
And G2532 lead G1533 us G2248 not G3361 into G1519 temptation, G3986 but G235 deliver G4506 us G2248 from G575 evil: G4190 For G3754 thine G4675 is G2076 the kingdom, G932 and G2532 the power, G1411 and G2532 the glory, G1391 for G1519 ever. G165 Amen. G281
So G1161 when G3752 this G5124 corruptible G5349 shall have put on G1746 incorruption, G861 and G2532 this G5124 mortal G2349 shall have put on G1746 immortality, G110 then G5119 shall be brought to pass G1096 the saying G3056 that is written, G1125 Death G2288 is swallowed up G2666 in G1519 victory. G3534
For G1063 we have G1811 not G3756 followed G1811 cunningly devised G4679 fables, G3454 when we made known G1107 unto you G5213 the power G1411 and G2532 coming G3952 of our G2257 Lord G2962 Jesus G2424 Christ, G5547 but G235 were G1096 eyewitnesses G2030 of his G1565 majesty. G3168 For G1063 he received G2983 from G3844 God G2316 the Father G3962 honour G5092 and G2532 glory, G1391 when there came G5342 such G5107 a voice G5456 to him G846 from G5259 the excellent G3169 glory, G1391 This G3778 is G2076 my G3450 beloved G27 Son, G5207 in G1519 whom G3739 I G1473 am well pleased. G2106
Now G1161 unto him that is able G1410 to keep G5442 you G5209 G846 from falling, G679 and G2532 to present G2476 you faultless G299 before the presence G2714 of his G846 glory G1391 with G1722 exceeding joy, G20 To the only G3441 wise G4680 God G2316 our G2257 Saviour, G4990 be glory G1391 and G2532 majesty, G3172 dominion G2904 and G2532 power, G1849 both G2532 now G3568 and G2532 ever. G1519 G3956 G165 Amen. G281

Commentary on Job 40 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 40
Many humbling confounding questions God had put to Job, in the foregoing chapter; now, in this chapter,
Job 40:1-5
Here is,
Job 40:6-14
Job was greatly humbled for what God had already said, but not sufficiently; he was brought low, but not low enough; and therefore God here proceeds to reason with him in the same manner and to the same purport as before, v. 6. Observe,
God begins with a challenge (v. 7), as before (ch. 38:3): "Gird up thy loins now like a man; if thou hast the courage and confidence thou hast pretended to, show them now; but thou wilt soon be made to see and own thyself no match for me.' This is that which every proud heart must be brought to at last, either by its repentance or by its ruin; and thus low must every mountain and hill be, sooner or later, brought. We must acknowledge,
Job 40:15-24
God, for the further proving of his own power and disproving of Job's pretensions, concludes his discourse with the description of two vast and mighty animals, far exceeding man in bulk and strength, one he calls behemoth, the other leviathan. In these verses we have the former described. "Behold now behemoth, and consider whether thou art able to contend with him who made that beast and gave him all the power he has, and whether it is not thy wisdom rather to submit to him and make thy peace with him.' Behemoth signifies beasts in general, but must here be meant of some one particular species. Some understand it of the bull; others of an amphibious animal, well known (they say) in Egypt, called the river-horse (hippopotamus), living among the fish in the river Nile, but coming out to feed upon the earth. But I confess I see no reason to depart from the ancient and most generally received opinion, that it is the elephant that is here described, which is a very strong stately creature, of very large stature above any other, of wonderful sagacity, and of so great a reputation in the animal kingdom that among so many four-footed beasts as we have had the natural history of (ch. 38 and 39) we can scarcely suppose this should be omitted. Observe,
