4 When G1161 Jesus G2424 heard G191 that, he said, G2036 This G3778 sickness G769 is G2076 not G3756 unto G4314 death, G2288 but G235 for G5228 the glory G1391 of God, G2316 that G2443 the Son G5207 of God G2316 might be glorified G1392 thereby. G1223 G846
Jesus G2424 saith G3004 unto her, G846 Said I G2036 not G3756 unto thee, G4671 that, G3754 if G1437 thou wouldest believe, G4100 thou shouldest see G3700 the glory G1391 of God? G2316
Jesus G2424 answered, G611 Neither G3777 hath G264 this man G3778 sinned, G264 nor G3777 his G846 parents: G1118 but G235 that G2443 the works G2041 of God G2316 should be made manifest G5319 in G1722 him. G846
Therefore, G3767 when G3753 he was gone out, G1831 Jesus G2424 said, G3004 Now G3568 is G1392 the Son G5207 of man G444 glorified, G1392 and G2532 God G2316 is glorified G1392 in G1722 him. G846 If G1487 God G2316 be glorified G1392 in G1722 him, G846 God G2316 shall G1392 also G2532 glorify G1392 him G846 in G1722 himself, G1438 and G2532 shall G1392 straightway G2117 glorify G1392 him. G846
And G2532 now, G3568 O Father, G3962 glorify G1392 thou G4771 me G3165 with G3844 thine own self G4572 with the glory G1391 which G3739 I had G2192 with G3844 thee G4671 before G4253 the world G2889 was. G1511
This G5026 beginning G746 of miracles G4592 did G4160 Jesus G2424 in G1722 Cana G2580 of Galilee, G1056 and G2532 manifested forth G5319 his G846 glory; G1391 and G2532 his G846 disciples G3101 believed G4100 on G1519 him. G846
And G2532 when he was come in, G1525 he saith G3004 unto them, G846 Why G5101 make ye this ado, G2350 and G2532 weep? G2799 the damsel G3813 is G599 not G3756 dead, G599 but G235 sleepeth. G2518 And G2532 they laughed G2606 him G846 to scorn. G2606 But G1161 when he had put G1544 them all G537 out, G1544 he taketh G3880 the father G3962 and G2532 the mother G3384 of the damsel, G3813 and G2532 them that were with G3326 him, G846 and G2532 entereth in G1531 where G3699 the damsel G3813 was G2258 lying. G345 And G2532 he took G2902 the damsel G3813 by the hand, G5495 and said G3004 unto her, G846 Talitha G5008 cumi; G2891 which G3739 is, G2076 being interpreted, G3177 Damsel, G2877 I say G3004 unto thee, G4671 arise. G1453 And G2532 straightway G2112 the damsel G2877 arose, G450 and G2532 walked; G4043 for G1063 she was G2258 of the age of twelve G1427 years. G2094 And G2532 they were astonished G1839 with a great G3173 astonishment. G1611
If G1487 ye be reproached G3679 for G1722 the name G3686 of Christ, G5547 happy G3107 are ye; for G3754 the spirit G4151 of glory G1391 and G2532 of God G2316 resteth G373 upon G1909 you: G5209 on G2596 G3303 their part G846 he is evil spoken of, G987 but G1161 on G2596 your part G5209 he is glorified. G1392
Then G3767 again G1208 G1537 called they G5455 the man G444 that G3739 was G2258 blind, G5185 and G2532 said G2036 unto him, G846 Give G1325 God G2316 the praise: G1391 we G2249 know G1492 that G3754 this G3778 man G444 is G2076 a sinner. G268
If any man G1536 speak, G2980 let him speak as G5613 the oracles G3051 of God; G2316 if any man G1536 minister, G1247 let him do it as G5613 of G1537 the ability G2479 which G3739 God G2316 giveth: G5524 that G2443 God G2316 in G1722 all things G3956 may be glorified G1392 through G1223 Jesus G2424 Christ, G5547 to whom G3739 be G2076 praise G1391 and G2532 dominion G2904 for G1519 ever G165 and ever. G165 Amen. G281
According G2596 to my G3450 earnest expectation G603 and G2532 my hope, G1680 that G3754 in G1722 nothing G3762 I shall be ashamed, G153 but G235 that with G1722 all G3956 boldness, G3954 as G5613 always, G3842 so now G3568 also G2532 Christ G5547 shall be magnified G3170 in G1722 my G3450 body, G4983 whether G1535 it be by G1223 life, G2222 or G1535 by G1223 death. G2288
Being filled G4137 with the fruits G2590 of righteousness, G1343 which G3588 are by G1223 Jesus G2424 Christ, G5547 unto G1519 the glory G1391 and G2532 praise G1868 of God. G2316
And G2532 all G3956 mine G1699 are G2076 thine, G4674 and G2532 thine G4674 are mine; G1699 and G2532 I am glorified G1392 in G1722 them. G846
These words G5023 spake G2980 Jesus, G2424 and G2532 lifted up G1869 his G846 eyes G3788 to G1519 heaven, G3772 and G2532 said, G2036 Father, G3962 the hour G5610 is come; G2064 glorify G1392 thy G4675 Son, G5207 that G2443 thy G4675 Son G5207 also G2532 may glorify G1392 thee: G4571

Commentary on John 11 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 11
In this chapter we have the history of that illustrious miracle which Christ wrought a little before his death-the raising of Lazarus to life, which is recorded only by this evangelist; for the other three confine themselves to what Christ did in Galilee, where he resided most, and scarcely ever carried their history into Jerusalem till the passion-week: whereas John's memoirs relate chiefly to what passed at Jerusalem; this passage therefore was reserved for his pen. Some suggest that, when the other evangelists wrote, Lazarus was alive, and it would not well agree either with his safety or with his humility to have it recorded till now, when it is supposed he was dead. It is more largely recorded than any other of Christ's miracles, not only because there are many circumstances of it so very instructive and the miracle of itself so great a proof of Christ's mission, but because it was an earnest of that which was to be the crowning proof of all-Christ's own resurrection. Here is,
Jhn 11:1-16
We have in these verses,
Jhn 11:17-32
The matter being determined, that Christ will go to Judea, and his disciples with him, they address themselves to their journey; in this journey some circumstances happened which the other evangelists record, as the healing of the blind man at Jericho, and the conversion of Zaccheus. We must not reckon ourselves out of our way, while we are in the way of doing good; nor be so intent upon one good office as to neglect another.
At length, he comes near to Bethany, which is said to be about fifteen furlongs from Jerusalem, about two measured miles, v. 18. Notice is taken of this, that this miracle was in effect wrought in Jerusalem, and so was put to her score. Christ's miracles in Galilee were more numerous, but those in or near Jerusalem were more illustrious; there he healed one that had been diseased thirty-eight years, another that had been blind from his birth, and raised one that had been dead four days. To Bethany Christ came, and observe,

Here we have,
Jhn 11:45-57
We have here an account of the consequences of this glorious miracle, which were as usual; to some it was a savour of life unto life, to others of death unto death.
