13 And Joshua H3091 blessed H1288 him, and gave H5414 unto Caleb H3612 the son H1121 of Jephunneh H3312 Hebron H2275 for an inheritance. H5159
So Joshua H3091 blessed H1288 them, and sent them away: H7971 and they went H3212 unto their tents. H168
And they gave H5414 Hebron H2275 unto Caleb, H3612 as Moses H4872 said: H1696 and he expelled H3423 thence the three H7969 sons H1121 of Anak. H6061
And Joshua H3091 went up H5927 from Eglon, H5700 and all Israel H3478 with him, unto Hebron; H2275 and they fought H3898 against it: And they took H3920 it, and smote H5221 it with the edge H6310 of the sword, H2719 and the king H4428 thereof, and all the cities H5892 thereof, and all the souls H5315 that were therein; he left H7604 none remaining, H8300 according to all that he had done H6213 to Eglon; H5700 but destroyed H2763 it utterly, and all the souls H5315 that were therein.
And unto Caleb H3612 the son H1121 of Jephunneh H3312 he gave H5414 a part H2506 among H8432 the children H1121 of Judah, H3063 according H413 to the commandment H6310 of the LORD H3068 to Joshua, H3091 even the city H7151 of Arba H704 H7153 the father H1 of Anak, H6061 which city is Hebron. H2275

But the fields H7704 of the city, H5892 and the villages H2691 thereof, gave H5414 they to Caleb H3612 the son H1121 of Jephunneh H3312 for his possession. H272
And Joseph H3130 brought in H935 Jacob H3290 his father, H1 and set him H5975 before H6440 Pharaoh: H6547 and Jacob H3290 blessed H1288 Pharaoh. H6547
My dove, H3123 my undefiled H8535 is but one; H259 she is the only one H259 of her mother, H517 she is the choice H1249 one of her that bare H3205 her. The daughters H1323 saw H7200 her, and blessed H833 her; yea, the queens H4436 and the concubines, H6370 and they praised H1984 her.

Commentary on Joshua 14 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 14
Here is,
Jos 14:1-5
The historian, having in the foregoing chapter given an account of the disposal of the countries on the other side Jordan, now comes to tell us what they did with the countries in the land of Canaan. They were not conquered to be left desert, a habitation for dragons, and a court for owls, Isa. 34:13. No, the Israelites that had hitherto been closely encamped in a body, and the greatest part of them such as never knew any other way of living, must now disperse themselves to replenish these new conquests. It is said of the earth, God created it not in vain; he formed it to be inhabited, Isa. 45:18. Canaan would have been subdued in vain if it had not been inhabited. Yet every man might not go and settle where he pleased, but as there seems to have been in the days of Peleg an orderly and regular division of the habitable earth among the sons of Noah (Gen. 10:25, 32), so there was now such a division of the land of Canaan among the sons of Jacob. God had given Moses directions how this distribution should be made, and those directions are here punctually observed. See Num. 26:53, etc.
Jos 14:6-15
Before the lot was cast into the lap for the determining of the portions of the respective tribes, the particular portion of Caleb was assigned to him. He was now, except Joshua, not only the oldest man in all Israel, but was twenty years older than any of them, for all that were above twenty years old when he was forty were dead in the wilderness; it was fit therefore that this phoenix of his age should have some particular marks of honour put upon him in the dividing of the land. Now,
