2 And he said H559 unto his mother, H517 The eleven hundred H505 H3967 shekels of silver H3701 that were taken H3947 from thee, about which thou cursedst, H422 and spakest H559 of also in mine ears, H241 behold, the silver H3701 is with me; I took H3947 it. And his mother H517 said, H559 Blessed H1288 be thou of the LORD, H3068 my son. H1121
And I contended H7378 with them, and cursed H7043 them, and smote H5221 certain H582 of them, and plucked off their hair, H4803 and made them swear H7650 by God, H430 saying, Ye shall not give H5414 your daughters H1323 unto their sons, H1121 nor take H5375 their daughters H1323 unto your sons, H1121 or for yourselves.
And he said, H559 Blessed H1288 be thou of the LORD, H3068 my daughter: H1323 for thou hast shewed H3190 more kindness H2617 in the latter end H314 than at the beginning, H7223 inasmuch as thou followedst H3212 H310 not H1115 young men, H970 whether poor H1800 or rich. H6223
Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord H113 the king H4428 hear H8085 the words H1697 of his servant. H5650 If the LORD H3068 have stirred thee up H5496 against me, let him accept H7306 an offering: H4503 but if they be the children H1121 of men, H120 cursed H779 be they before H6440 the LORD; H3068 for they have driven H1644 me out this day H3117 from abiding H5596 in the inheritance H5159 of the LORD, H3068 saying, H559 Go, H3212 serve H5647 other H312 gods. H430
For G1063 he that biddeth G3004 him G846 God speed G5463 is partaker G2841 of his G846 evil G4190 deeds. G2041
Then G5119 began he G756 to curse G2653 and G2532 to swear, G3660 saying, G3754 I know G1492 not G3756 the man. G444 And G2532 immediately G2112 the cock G220 crew. G5455
For the wicked H7563 boasteth H1984 of his heart's H5315 desire, H8378 and blesseth H1288 the covetous, H1214 whom the LORD H3068 abhorreth. H5006
And Samuel H8050 came H935 to Saul: H7586 and Saul H7586 said H559 unto him, Blessed H1288 be thou of the LORD: H3068 I have performed H6965 the commandment H1697 of the LORD. H3068
Then answered H6030 one H376 of the people, H5971 and said, H559 Thy father H1 straitly H7650 charged H7650 the people H5971 with an oath, H7650 saying, H559 Cursed H779 be the man H376 that eateth H398 any food H3899 this day. H3117 And the people H5971 were faint. H5774
And the men H376 of Israel H3478 were distressed H5065 that day: H3117 for Saul H7586 had adjured H422 the people, H5971 saying, H559 Cursed H779 be the man H376 that eateth H398 any food H3899 until evening, H6153 that I may be avenged H5358 on mine enemies. H341 So none of the people H5971 tasted H2938 any food. H3899
Curse H779 ye Meroz, H4789 said H559 the angel H4397 of the LORD, H3068 curse H779 ye bitterly H779 the inhabitants H3427 thereof; because they came H935 not to the help H5833 of the LORD, H3068 to the help H5833 of the LORD H3068 against the mighty. H1368
And it came to pass, when he saw H7200 the earring H5141 and bracelets H6781 upon his sister's H269 hands, H3027 and when he heard H8085 the words H1697 of Rebekah H7259 his sister, H269 saying, H559 Thus H3541 spake H1696 the man H376 unto me; that he came H935 unto the man; H376 and, behold, he stood H5975 by H5921 the camels H1581 at the well. H5869 And he said, H559 Come in, H935 thou blessed H1288 of the LORD; H3068 wherefore standest H5975 thou without? H2351 for I have prepared H6437 the house, H1004 and room H4725 for the camels. That it might appear how happy the nation was in the judges it is here shown how unhappy they were when there was none.
