16 He that heareth G191 you G5216 heareth G191 me; G1700 and G2532 he that despiseth G114 you G5209 despiseth G114 me; G1691 and G1161 he that despiseth G114 me G1691 despiseth G114 him that sent G649 me. G3165
He that receiveth G1209 you G5209 receiveth G1209 me, G1691 and G2532 he that receiveth G1209 me G1691 receiveth G1209 him that sent G649 me. G3165
He that rejecteth G114 me, G1691 and G2532 receiveth G2983 not G3361 my G3450 words, G4487 hath G2192 one that judgeth G2919 him: G846 the word G3056 that G3739 I have spoken, G2980 the same G1565 shall judge G2919 him G846 in G1722 the last G2078 day. G2250
Whosoever G3739 G1437 shall receive G1209 one G1520 of such G5108 children G3813 in G1909 my G3450 name, G3686 receiveth G1209 me: G1691 and G2532 whosoever G3739 G1437 shall receive G1209 me, G1691 receiveth G1209 not G3756 me, G1691 but G235 him that sent G649 me. G3165
And G2532 said G2036 unto them, G846 Whosoever G3739 G1437 shall receive G1209 this G5124 child G3813 in G1909 my G3450 name G3686 receiveth G1209 me: G1691 and G2532 whosoever G3739 G1437 shall receive G1209 me G1691 receiveth him G1209 that sent G649 me: G3165 for G1063 he that is G5225 least G3398 among G1722 you G5213 all, G3956 the same G3778 shall be G2071 great. G3173
And in the morning, H1242 then ye shall see H7200 the glory H3519 of the LORD; H3068 for that he heareth H8085 your murmurings H8519 against the LORD: H3068 and what are we, H5168 that ye murmur H3885 H3885 against us?
And all the children H1121 of Israel H3478 murmured H3885 against Moses H4872 and against Aaron: H175 and the whole congregation H5712 said H559 unto them, Would God H3863 that we had died H4191 in the land H776 of Egypt! H4714 or would God H3863 we had died H4191 in this wilderness! H4057
For which cause H3651 both thou and all thy company H5712 are gathered together H3259 against the LORD: H3068 and what is Aaron, H175 that ye murmur H3885 H3885 against him?
A son H1121 honoureth H3513 his father, H1 and a servant H5650 his master: H113 if then I be a father, H1 where is mine honour? H3519 and if I be a master, H113 where is my fear? H4172 saith H559 the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635 unto you, O priests, H3548 that despise H959 my name. H8034 And ye say, H559 Wherein have we despised H959 thy name? H8034
For G1063 G3761 the Father G3962 judgeth G2919 no man, G3762 but G235 hath committed G1325 all G3956 judgment G2920 unto the Son: G5207 That G2443 all G3956 men should honour G5091 the Son, G5207 even as G2531 they honour G5091 the Father. G3962 He that honoureth G5091 not G3361 the Son G5207 honoureth G5091 not G3756 the Father G3962 which G3588 hath sent G3992 him. G846
G1161 Jesus G2424 cried G2896 and G2532 said, G2036 He that believeth G4100 on G1519 me, G1691 believeth G4100 not G3756 on G1519 me, G1691 but G235 on G1519 him that sent G3992 me. G3165
Whiles it remained, G3306 was it not G3780 thine own? G4671 G3306 and G2532 after it was sold, G4097 was it not G5225 in G1722 thine own G4674 power? G1849 why G5101 G3754 hast thou conceived G5087 this G5124 thing G4229 in G1722 thine G4675 heart? G2588 thou hast G5574 not G3756 lied G5574 unto men, G444 but G235 unto God. G2316

Commentary on Luke 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
In this chapter we have,
Luk 10:1-16
We have here the sending forth of seventy disciples, two and two, into divers parts of the country, to preach the gospel, and to work miracles in those places which Christ himself designed to visit, to make way for his entertainment. This is not taken notice of by the other evangelists: but the instructions here given them are much the same with those given to the twelve. Observe,
Upon this occasion, the evangelist repeats,
Luk 10:17-24
Christ sent forth the seventy disciples as he was going up to Jerusalem to the feast of tabernacles, when he went up, not openly, but as it were in secret (Jn. 7:10), having sent abroad so great a part of his ordinary retinue; and Dr. Lightfoot thinks it was before his return from that feast, and while he was yet at Jerusalem, or Bethany, which was hard by (for there he was, v. 38), that they, or at least some of them, returned to him. Now here we are told,
Luk 10:25-37
We have here Christ's discourse with a lawyer about some points of conscience, which we are all concerned to be rightly informed in and are so here from Christ though the questions were proposed with no good intention.
Luk 10:38-42
We may observe in this story,
