15 And G2532 he said G2036 unto them, G846 Go ye G4198 into G1519 all G537 the world, G2889 and preach G2784 the gospel G2098 to every G3956 creature. G2937
And G2532 that repentance G3341 and G2532 remission G859 of sins G266 should be preached G2784 in G1909 his G846 name G3686 among G1519 all G3956 nations, G1484 beginning G756 at G575 Jerusalem. G2419 And G1161 ye G5210 are G2075 witnesses G3144 of these things. G5130
So G2532 that G1565 servant G1401 came, G3854 and shewed G518 his G846 lord G2962 these things. G5023 Then G5119 the master of the house G3617 being angry G3710 said G2036 to his G846 servant, G1401 Go out G1831 quickly G5030 into G1519 the streets G4113 and G2532 lanes G4505 of the city, G4172 and G2532 bring in G1521 hither G5602 the poor, G4434 and G2532 the maimed, G376 and G2532 the halt, G5560 and G2532 the blind. G5185 And G2532 the servant G1401 said, G2036 Lord, G2962 it is done G1096 as G5613 thou hast commanded, G2004 and G2532 yet G2089 there is G2076 room. G5117 And G2532 the lord G2962 said G2036 unto G4314 the servant, G1401 Go out G1831 into G1519 the highways G3598 and G2532 hedges, G5418 and G2532 compel G315 them to come in, G1525 that G2443 my G3450 house G3624 may be filled. G1072
And G2532 the angel G32 said G2036 unto them, G846 Fear G5399 not: G3361 for, G1063 behold, G2400 I bring G2097 you G5213 good tidings G2097 of great G3173 joy, G5479 which G3748 shall be G2071 to all G3956 people. G2992 For G3754 unto you G5213 is born G5088 this day G4594 in G1722 the city G4172 of David G1138 a Saviour, G4990 which G3739 is G2076 Christ G5547 the Lord. G2962
These G5128 twelve G1427 Jesus G2424 sent forth, G649 and commanded G3853 them, G846 saying, G3004 Go G565 not G3361 into G1519 the way G3598 of the Gentiles, G1484 and G2532 into G1519 any city G4172 of the Samaritans G4541 enter ye G1525 not: G3361 But G1161 go G4198 rather G3123 to G4314 the lost G622 sheep G4263 of the house G3624 of Israel. G2474
Arise, H6965 shine; H215 for thy light H216 is come, H935 and the glory H3519 of the LORD H3068 is risen H2224 upon thee. For, behold, the darkness H2822 shall cover H3680 the earth, H776 and gross darkness H6205 the people: H3816 but the LORD H3068 shall arise H2224 upon thee, and his glory H3519 shall be seen H7200 upon thee. And the Gentiles H1471 shall come H1980 to thy light, H216 and kings H4428 to the brightness H5051 of thy rising. H2225
Sing H7891 unto the LORD H3068 a new H2319 song, H7892 and his praise H8416 from the end H7097 of the earth, H776 ye that go down H3381 to the sea, H3220 and all that is therein; H4393 the isles, H339 and the inhabitants H3427 thereof. Let the wilderness H4057 and the cities H5892 thereof lift up H5375 their voice, the villages H2691 that Kedar H6938 doth inhabit: H3427 let the inhabitants H3427 of the rock H5553 sing, H7442 let them shout H6681 from the top H7218 of the mountains. H2022 Let them give H7760 glory H3519 unto the LORD, H3068 and declare H5046 his praise H8416 in the islands. H339
[[To the chief Musician H5329 on Neginoth, H5058 A Psalm H4210 or Song.]] H7892 God H430 be merciful H2603 unto us, and bless H1288 us; and cause his face H6440 to shine H215 upon us; Selah. H5542 That thy way H1870 may be known H3045 upon earth, H776 thy saving health H3444 among all nations. H1471

Commentary on Mark 16 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 16
In this chapter, we have a short account of the resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus: and the joys and triumphs which it furnished all believers with, will be very acceptable to those who sympathised and suffered with Christ in the foregoing chapters. Here is,
Mar 16:1-8
Never was there such a sabbath since the sabbath was first instituted as this was, which the first words of this chapter tell us was now past; during all this sabbath our Lord Jesus lay in the grave. It was to him a sabbath of rest, but a silent sabbath, it was to his disciples a melancholy sabbath, spent in tears and fears. Never were the sabbath services in the temple such an abomination to God, though they had been often so, as they were now, when the chief priests, who presided in them, had their hands full of blood, the blood of Christ. Well, this sabbath is over, and the first day of the week is the first day of a new world. We have here,
Mar 16:9-13
We have here a very short account of two of Christ's appearances, and the little credit which the report of them gained with the disciples.
