9 Take ye the spoil H962 of silver, H3701 take the spoil H962 of gold: H2091 for there is none end H7097 of the store H8498 and glory H3519 out of all the pleasant H2532 furniture. H3627
And when the year H8141 was expired, H8666 king H4428 Nebuchadnezzar H5019 sent, H7971 and brought H935 him to Babylon, H894 with the goodly H2532 vessels H3627 of the house H1004 of the LORD, H3068 and made Zedekiah H6667 his brother H251 king H4427 over Judah H3063 and Jerusalem. H3389
And your spoil H7998 shall be gathered H622 like the gathering H625 of the caterpiller: H2625 as the running to and fro H4944 of locusts H1357 shall he run H8264 upon them.
Howl, H3213 ye shepherds, H7462 and cry; H2199 and wallow H6428 yourselves in the ashes, ye principal H117 of the flock: H6629 for the days H3117 of your slaughter H2873 and of your dispersions H8600 are accomplished; H4390 and ye shall fall H5307 like a pleasant H2532 vessel. H3627
Because the spoiler H7703 is come H935 upon her, even upon Babylon, H894 and her mighty men H1368 are taken, H3920 every one of their bows H7198 is broken: H2865 for the LORD H3068 God H410 of recompences H1578 shall surely H7999 requite. H7999
And they shall make a spoil H7997 of thy riches, H2428 and make a prey H962 of thy merchandise: H7404 and they shall break down H2040 thy walls, H2346 and destroy H5422 thy pleasant H2532 houses: H1004 and they shall lay H7760 thy stones H68 and thy timber H6086 and thy dust H6083 in the midst H8432 of the water. H4325
The lion H738 did tear in pieces H2963 enough H1767 for his whelps, H1484 and strangled H2614 for his lionesses, H3833 and filled H4390 his holes H2356 with prey, H2964 and his dens H4585 with ravin. H2966 Behold, I am against thee, saith H5002 the LORD H3068 of hosts, H6635 and I will burn H1197 her chariots H7393 in the smoke, H6227 and the sword H2719 shall devour H398 thy young lions: H3715 and I will cut off H3772 thy prey H2964 from the earth, H776 and the voice H6963 of thy messengers H4397 shall no more be heard. H8085
Woe H1945 to thee that spoilest, H7703 and thou wast not spoiled; H7703 and dealest treacherously, H898 and they dealt not treacherously H898 with thee! when thou shalt cease H8552 to spoil, H7703 thou shalt be spoiled; H7703 and when thou shalt make an end H5239 to deal treacherously, H898 they shall deal treacherously H898 with thee.

Commentary on Nahum 2 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 2
We now come closer to Nineveh, that great city; she took, not warning by the destruction of her armies and the fall of her king, and therefore may expect, since she persists in her enmity to God, that he will proceed in his controversy with her. Here is foretold,
All this was fulfilled when Nebuchadnezzar, in the first year of his reign, in conjunction with Cyaxares, or Ahasuerus, king of the Medes, conquered Nineveh, and made himself master of the Assyrian monarchy.
