7 He shall pour H5140 the water H4325 out H5140 of his buckets, H1805 and his seed H2233 shall be in many H7227 waters, H4325 and his king H4428 shall be higher H7311 than Agag, H90 and his kingdom H4438 shall be exalted. H5375
That G2443 at G1722 the name G3686 of Jesus G2424 every G3956 knee G1119 should bow, G2578 of things in heaven, G2032 and G2532 things in earth, G1919 and G2532 things under the earth; G2709 And G2532 that every G3956 tongue G1100 should confess G1843 that G3754 Jesus G2424 Christ G5547 is Lord, G2962 to G1519 the glory G1391 of God G2316 the Father. G3962
And he took H8610 Agag H90 the king H4428 of the Amalekites H6002 alive, H2416 and utterly destroyed H2763 all the people H5971 with the edge H6310 of the sword. H2719 But Saul H7586 and the people H5971 spared H2550 Agag, H90 and the best H4315 of the sheep, H6629 and of the oxen, H1241 and of the fatlings, H4932 and the lambs, H3733 and all that was good, H2896 and would H14 not utterly destroy H2763 them: but every thing H4399 that was vile H5240 and refuse, H4549 that they destroyed utterly. H2763
They shall speak H559 of the glory H3519 of thy kingdom, H4438 and talk H1696 of thy power; H1369 To make known H3045 to the sons H1121 of men H120 his mighty acts, H1369 and the glorious H3519 majesty H1926 of his kingdom. H4438 Thy kingdom H4438 is an everlasting H5769 kingdom, H4438 and thy dominion H4475 endureth throughout all H1755 generations. H1755
The floods H5104 have lifted up, H5375 O LORD, H3068 the floods H5104 have lifted up H5375 their voice; H6963 the floods H5104 lift up H5375 their waves. H1796 The LORD H3068 on high H4791 is mightier H117 than the noise H6963 of many H7227 waters, H4325 yea, than the mighty H117 waves H4867 of the sea. H3220
Yet have I set H5258 my king H4428 upon my holy H6944 hill H2022 of Zion. H6726 I will declare H5608 the decree: H2706 the LORD H3068 hath said H559 unto me, Thou art my Son; H1121 this day H3117 have I begotten H3205 thee. Ask H7592 of me, and I shall give H5414 thee the heathen H1471 for thine inheritance, H5159 and the uttermost parts H657 of the earth H776 for thy possession. H272 Thou shalt break H7489 them with a rod H7626 of iron; H1270 thou shalt dash them in pieces H5310 like a potter's H3335 vessel. H3627 Be wise H7919 now therefore, O ye kings: H4428 be instructed, H3256 ye judges H8199 of the earth. H776
Then said H559 Samuel, H8050 Bring ye hither H5066 to me Agag H90 the king H4428 of the Amalekites. H6002 And Agag H90 came H3212 unto him delicately. H4574 And Agag H90 said, H559 Surely H403 the bitterness H4751 of death H4194 is past. H5493 And Samuel H8050 said, H559 As thy sword H2719 hath made women H802 childless, H7921 so shall thy mother H517 be childless H7921 among women. H802 And Samuel H8050 hewed H8158 Agag H90 in pieces H8158 before H6440 the LORD H3068 in Gilgal. H1537

Commentary on Numbers 24 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 24
This chapter continues and concludes the history of the defeat of the counsels of Balak and Balaam against Israel, not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord of hosts; and as great an instance it is of God's power over the children of men, and his favour towards his own children, as any of the victories recorded in the book of the wars of the Lord. What preparation was made the third time for the cursing of Israel we read of in the close of the foregoing chapter. In this chapter we are told,
Num 24:1-9
The blessing itself which Balaam here pronounces upon Israel is much the same with the two we had in the foregoing chapter; but the introduction to it is different.
Num 24:10-14
We have here the conclusion of this vain attempt to curse Israel, and the total abandonment of it.
Num 24:15-25
The office of prophets was both to bless and to prophesy in the name of the Lord. Balaam, as a prophet, per force had blessed Israel; here he foretels future events.
