12 Hope H8431 deferred H4900 maketh the heart H3820 sick: H2470 but when the desire H8378 cometh, H935 it is a tree H6086 of life. H2416
And Sarah H8283 said, H559 God H430 hath made H6213 me to laugh, H6712 so that all that hear H8085 will laugh H6711 with me. And she said, H559 Who would have said H4448 unto Abraham, H85 that Sarah H8283 should have given children H1121 suck? H3243 for I have born H3205 him a son H1121 in his old age. H2208
And she said, H559 Oh H994 my lord, H113 as thy soul H5315 liveth, H2416 my lord, H113 I am the woman H802 that stood H5324 by thee here, praying H6419 unto the LORD. H3068 For this child H5288 I prayed; H6419 and the LORD H3068 hath given H5414 me my petition H7596 which I asked H7592 of him: Therefore also I have lent H7592 him to the LORD; H3068 as long as he liveth H3117 he shall be lent H7592 to the LORD. H3068 And he worshipped H7812 the LORD H3068 there.
He brought me up H5927 also out of an horrible H7588 pit, H953 out of the miry H3121 clay, H2916 and set H6965 my feet H7272 upon a rock, H5553 and established H3559 my goings. H838 And he hath put H5414 a new H2319 song H7892 in my mouth, H6310 even praise H8416 unto our God: H430 many H7227 shall see H7200 it, and fear, H3372 and shall trust H982 in the LORD. H3068
CAPH. My soul H5315 fainteth H3615 for thy salvation: H8668 but I hope H3176 in thy word. H1697 Mine eyes H5869 fail H3615 for thy word, H565 saying, H559 When wilt thou comfort H5162 me? For I am become like a bottle H4997 in the smoke; H7008 yet do I not forget H7911 thy statutes. H2706
[[To the chief Musician, H5329 Maschil, H4905 for the sons H1121 of Korah.]] H7141 As the hart H354 panteth H6165 after the water H4325 brooks, H650 so panteth H6165 my soul H5315 after thee, O God. H430 My soul H5315 thirsteth H6770 for God, H430 for the living H2416 God: H410 when shall I come H935 and appear H7200 before H6440 God? H430 My tears H1832 have been my meat H3899 day H3119 and night, H3915 while they continually H3117 say H559 unto me, Where is thy God? H430
