8 He that by usury H5392 and unjust gain H8636 increaseth H7235 his substance, H1952 he shall gather H6908 it for him that will pity H2603 the poor. H1800
A good H2896 man leaveth an inheritance H5157 to his children's H1121 children: H1121 and the wealth H2428 of the sinner H2398 is laid up H6845 for the just. H6662
He that oppresseth H6231 the poor H1800 reproacheth H2778 his Maker: H6213 but he that honoureth H3513 him hath mercy H2603 on the poor. H34
All the brethren H251 of the poor H7326 do hate H8130 him: how much more do his friends H4828 go far H7368 from him? he pursueth H7291 them with words, H561 yet they are wanting to him.
For God giveth H5414 to a man H120 that is good H2896 in his sight H6440 wisdom, H2451 and knowledge, H1847 and joy: H8057 but to the sinner H2398 he giveth H5414 travail, H6045 to gather H622 and to heap up, H3664 that he may give H5414 to him that is good H2896 before H6440 God. H430 This also is vanity H1892 and vexation H7469 of spirit. H7307
Hath given forth H5414 upon usury, H5392 and hath taken H3947 increase: H8636 shall he then live? H2425 he shall not live: H2421 he hath done H6213 all these abominations; H8441 he shall surely H4191 die; H4191 his blood H1818 shall be upon him.
That hath taken off H7725 his hand H3027 from the poor, H6041 that hath not received H3947 usury H5392 nor increase, H8636 hath executed H6213 my judgments, H4941 hath walked H1980 in my statutes; H2708 he shall not die H4191 for the iniquity H5771 of his father, H1 he shall surely H2421 live.
