1 [[A Psalm of David.]] H1732 Plead H7378 my cause, O LORD, H3068 with them that strive H3401 with me: fight H3898 against them that fight H3898 against me.
And took off H5493 their chariot H4818 wheels, H212 that they drave H5090 them heavily: H3517 so that the Egyptians H4714 said, H559 Let us flee H5127 from the face H6440 of Israel; H3478 for the LORD H3068 fighteth H3898 for them against the Egyptians. H4714
In what place H4725 therefore ye hear H8085 the sound H6963 of the trumpet, H7782 resort H6908 ye thither unto us: our God H430 shall fight H3898 for us.
But thus saith H559 the LORD, H3068 Even the captives H7628 of the mighty H1368 shall be taken away, H3947 and the prey H4455 of the terrible H6184 shall be delivered: H4422 for I will contend H7378 with him that contendeth H3401 with thee, and I will save H3467 thy children. H1121
Therefore thus saith H559 the LORD; H3068 Behold, I will plead H7378 thy cause, H7379 and take vengeance H5358 for thee; H5360 and I will dry up H2717 her sea, H3220 and make her springs H4726 dry. H3001
And all these kings H4428 and their land H776 did Joshua H3091 take H3920 at one H259 time, H6471 because the LORD H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478 fought H3898 for Israel. H3478
O Lord, H136 thou hast pleaded H7378 the causes H7379 of my soul; H5315 thou hast redeemed H1350 my life. H2416
And G1161 there arose G1096 a great G3173 cry: G2906 and G2532 the scribes G1122 that were of the Pharisees' G5330 part G3313 arose, G450 and strove, G1264 saying, G3004 We find G2147 no G3762 evil G2556 in G1722 this G5129 man: G444 but G1161 if G1487 a spirit G4151 or G2228 an angel G32 hath spoken G2980 to him, G846 let us G2313 not G3361 fight G2313 against God.
