4 Let them be confounded H954 and put to shame H3637 that seek H1245 after my soul: H5315 let them be turned H5472 back H268 and brought to confusion H2659 that devise H2803 my hurt. H7451
Let them all be confounded H954 and turned H5472 back H268 that hate H8130 Zion. H6726
See H7200 therefore, and take knowledge H3045 of all the lurking places H4224 where he hideth H2244 himself, and come ye again H7725 to me with the certainty, H3559 and I will go H1980 with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be H3426 in the land, H776 that I will search H2664 him out throughout all the thousands H505 of Judah. H3063
And he said, H559 I have been very H7065 jealous H7065 for the LORD H3068 God H430 of hosts: H6635 for the children H1121 of Israel H3478 have forsaken H5800 thy covenant, H1285 thrown down H2040 thine altars, H4196 and slain H2026 thy prophets H5030 with the sword; H2719 and I, even I only, am left; H3498 and they seek H1245 my life, H5315 to take it away. H3947
Let me not be ashamed, H954 O LORD; H3068 for I have called H7121 upon thee: let the wicked H7563 be ashamed, H954 and let them be silent H1826 in the grave. H7585 Let the lying H8267 lips H8193 be put to silence; H481 which speak H1696 grievous H6277 things proudly H1346 and contemptuously H937 against the righteous. H6662
Let them be ashamed H954 and confounded H2659 together H3162 that seek H1245 after my soul H5315 to destroy H5595 it; let them be driven H5472 backward H268 and put to shame H3637 that wish H2655 me evil. H7451 Let them be desolate H8074 for a reward H6118 of their shame H1322 that say H559 unto me, Aha, H1889 aha. H1889
Let them be ashamed H954 and confounded H2659 that seek H1245 after my soul: H5315 let them be turned H5472 backward, H268 and put to confusion, H3637 that desire H2655 my hurt. H7451 Let them be turned back H7725 for a reward H6118 of their shame H1322 that say, H559 Aha, H1889 aha. H1889
Because thy rage H7264 against me, and thy tumult, H7600 is come up H5927 into mine ears, H241 therefore will I put H7760 my hook H2397 in thy nose, H639 and my bridle H4964 in thy lips, H8193 and I will turn thee back H7725 by the way H1870 by which thou camest. H935
Wherefore have I seen H7200 them dismayed H2844 and turned H5472 away back? H268 and their mighty ones H1368 are beaten down, H3807 and are fled H5127 apace, H4498 and look not back: H6437 for fear H4032 was round about, H5439 saith H5002 the LORD. H3068
And will ye pollute H2490 me among my people H5971 for handfuls H8168 of barley H8184 and for pieces H6595 of bread, H3899 to slay H4191 the souls H5315 that should not die, H4191 and to save H2421 the souls H5315 alive H2421 that should not live, H2421 by your lying H3576 to my people H5971 that hear H8085 your lies?
