16 But G235 they have G5219 not G3756 all G3956 obeyed G5219 the gospel. G2098 For G1063 Esaias G2268 saith, G3004 Lord, G2962 who G5101 hath believed G4100 our G2257 report? G189
Who hath believed H539 our report? H8052 and to whom is the arm H2220 of the LORD H3068 revealed? H1540
For G2532 G1063 unto us was G2070 the gospel preached, G2097 as well as G2509 unto them: G2548 but G235 the word G3056 preached G189 did G5623 not G3756 profit G5623 them, G1565 not G3361 being mixed G4786 with faith G4102 in them that heard G191 it.
That G2443 the saying G3056 of Esaias G2268 the prophet G4396 might be fulfilled, G4137 which G3739 he spake, G2036 Lord, G2962 who G5101 hath believed G4100 our G2257 report? G189 and G2532 to whom G5101 hath the arm G1023 of the Lord G2962 been revealed? G601 Therefore G5124 G1223 they could G1410 not G3756 believe, G4100 because G3754 that Esaias G2268 said G2036 again, G3825 He hath blinded G5186 their G846 eyes, G3788 and G2532 hardened G4456 their G846 heart; G2588 that G3363 they should G1492 not G3363 see G1492 with their eyes, G3788 nor G2532 understand G3539 with their heart, G2588 and G2532 be converted, G1994 and G2532 I should heal G2390 them. G846
Likewise, G3668 ye wives, G1135 be in subjection G5293 to your own G2398 husbands; G435 that, G2443 if any G1536 obey not G544 the word, G3056 they G2770 also G2532 may G2770 without G427 the word G3056 be won G2770 by G1223 the conversation G391 of the wives; G1135
Seeing ye have purified G48 your G5216 souls G5590 in G1722 obeying G5218 the truth G225 through G1223 the Spirit G4151 unto G1519 unfeigned G505 love of the brethren, G5360 see that ye love G25 one another G240 with G1537 a pure G2513 heart G2588 fervently: G1619
And G2532 being made perfect, G5048 he became G1096 the author G159 of eternal G166 salvation G4991 unto all G3956 them that obey G5219 him; G846
O G5599 foolish G453 Galatians, G1052 who G5101 hath bewitched G940 you, G5209 that ye should G3982 not G3361 obey G3982 the truth, G225 before G2596 whose G3739 eyes G3788 Jesus G2424 Christ G5547 hath been evidently set forth, G4270 crucified G4717 among G1722 you? G5213
But G1161 now G3568 is made manifest, G5319 and G5037 by G1223 the scriptures G1124 of the prophets, G4397 according G2596 to the commandment G2003 of the everlasting G166 God, G2316 made known G1107 to G1519 all G3956 nations G1484 for G1519 the obedience G5218 of faith: G4102
And G1161 if some G1536 of the branches G2798 be broken off, G1575 and G1161 thou, G4771 being G5607 a wild olive tree, G65 wert graffed in G1461 among G1722 them, G846 and G2532 with G4791 them G1096 partakest G4791 of the root G4491 and G2532 fatness G4096 of the olive tree; G1636
But G1161 God G2316 be thanked, G5485 that G3754 ye were G2258 the servants G1401 of sin, G266 but G1161 ye have obeyed G5219 from G1537 the heart G2588 that form G5179 of doctrine G1322 which G1519 G3739 was delivered you. G3860

Commentary on Romans 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
The dissolving of the peculiar church-state of the Jews, and the rejection of that polity by the repealing of their ceremonial law, the vacating of all the institutions of it, the abolishing of their priesthood, the burning of their temple, and the taking away of their place and nation, and in their room the substituting and erecting of a catholic church-state among the Gentile nations, though to us, now that these things have long since been done and completed, they may seem no great matter, yet to those who lived when they were doing, who knew how high the Jews had stood in God's favour, and how deplorable the condition of the Gentile world had been for many ages, it appeared very great and marvellous, and a mystery hard to be understood. The apostle, in this chapter, as in the foregoing and that which follows, is explaining and proving it; but with several very useful digressions, which a little interrupt the thread of his discourse. To two great truths I would reduce this chapter:-
Rom 10:1-11
The scope of the apostle in this part of the chapter is to show the vast difference between the righteousness of the law and the righteousness of faith, and the great pre-eminence of the righteousness of faith above that of the law; that he might induce and persuade the Jews to believe in Christ, aggravate the folly and sin of those that refused, and justify God in the rejection of such refusers.
Rom 10:12-21
The first words express the design of the apostle through these verses, that there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, but they stand upon the same level in point of acceptance with God. In Jesus Christ there is neither Greek nor Jews, Col. 3:11. God doth not save any nor reject any because they are Jews, nor because they are Greeks, but doth equally accept both upon gospel terms: There is no difference. For the proof of this he urges two arguments:-
