1 Behold, thou art fair, H3303 my love; H7474 behold, thou art fair; H3303 thou hast doves' H3123 eyes H5869 within H1157 thy locks: H6777 thy hair H8181 is as a flock H5739 of goats, H5795 that appear H1570 from mount H2022 Gilead. H1568
Behold, thou art fair, H3303 my love; H7474 behold, thou art fair; H3303 thou hast doves' H3123 eyes. H5869
Thine head H7218 upon thee is like Carmel, H3760 and the hair H1803 of thine head H7218 like purple; H713 the king H4428 is held H631 in the galleries. H7298
Feed H7462 thy people H5971 with thy rod, H7626 the flock H6629 of thine heritage, H5159 which dwell H7931 solitarily H910 in the wood, H3293 in the midst H8432 of Carmel: H3760 let them feed H7462 in Bashan H1316 and Gilead, H1568 as in the days H3117 of old. H5769
Now the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 and the children H1121 of Gad H1410 had a very H3966 great H6099 multitude H7227 of cattle: H4735 and when they saw H7200 the land H776 of Jazer, H3270 and the land H776 of Gilead, H1568 that, behold, the place H4725 was a place H4725 for cattle; H4735
And Moses H4872 gave H5414 Gilead H1568 unto Machir H4353 the son H1121 of Manasseh; H4519 and he dwelt H3427 therein.
O my dove, H3123 that art in the clefts H2288 of the rock, H5553 in the secret H5643 places of the stairs, H4095 let me see H7200 thy countenance, H4758 let me hear H8085 thy voice; H6963 for sweet H6156 is thy voice, H6963 and thy countenance H4758 is comely. H5000
Thou hast ravished my heart, H3823 my sister, H269 my spouse; H3618 thou hast ravished my heart H3823 with one H259 of thine eyes, H5869 with one H259 chain H6060 of thy neck. H6677 How fair H3302 is thy love, H1730 my sister, H269 my spouse! H3618 how much better H2895 is thy love H1730 than wine! H3196 and the smell H7381 of thine ointments H8081 than all spices! H1314
And thy renown H8034 went forth H3318 among the heathen H1471 for thy beauty: H3308 for it was perfect H3632 through my comeliness, H1926 which I had put H7760 upon thee, saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
Take G142 my G3450 yoke G2218 upon G1909 you, G5209 and G2532 learn G3129 of G575 me; G1700 for G3754 I am G1510 meek G4235 and G2532 lowly G5011 in heart: G2588 and G2532 ye shall find G2147 rest G372 unto your G5216 souls. G5590
Let nothing G3367 be done through G2596 strife G2052 or G2228 vainglory; G2754 but G235 in lowliness of mind G5012 let G2233 each G240 esteem G2233 other G240 better than G5242 themselves. G1438 Look G4648 not G3361 every man G1538 on his own things, G1438 but G235 every man G1538 also G2532 on the things G3588 of others. G2087 G1063 Let G5426 this G5124 mind be G5426 in G1722 you, G5213 which G3739 was also G2532 in G1722 Christ G5547 Jesus: G2424

Commentary on Song of Songs 4 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 4
In this chapter,
Sgs 4:1-7
Here is,
Sgs 4:8-14
These are still the words of Christ to his church, expressing his great esteem of her and affection to her, the opinion he had of her beauty and excellency, the desire he had of, and the delight he had in, her converse and society. And so ought men to love their wives as Christ loves the church, and takes pleasure in it as if it were spotless and had no fault, when yet it is compassed with infirmity. Now, observe here,
Sgs 4:15-16
