11 I went down H3381 into the garden H1594 of nuts H93 to see H7200 the fruits H3 of the valley, H5158 and to see H7200 whether the vine H1612 flourished, H6524 and the pomegranates H7416 budded. H5132
Let us get up early H7925 to the vineyards; H3754 let us see H7200 if the vine H1612 flourish, H6524 whether the tender grape H5563 appear, H6605 and the pomegranates H7416 bud forth: H5132 there will I give H5414 thee my loves. H1730
And out H4480 of the ground H127 made H6779 the LORD H3068 God H430 to grow H6779 every tree H6086 that is pleasant H2530 to the sight, H4758 and good H2896 for food; H3978 the tree H6086 of life H2416 also in the midst H8432 of the garden, H1588 and the tree H6086 of knowledge H1847 of good H2896 and evil. H7451
The righteous H6662 shall flourish H6524 like the palm tree: H8558 he shall grow H7685 like a cedar H730 in Lebanon. H3844 Those that be planted H8362 in the house H1004 of the LORD H3068 shall flourish H6524 in the courts H2691 of our God. H430 They shall still bring forth fruit H5107 in old age; H7872 they shall be fat H1879 and flourishing; H7488 To shew H5046 that the LORD H3068 is upright: H3477 he is my rock, H6697 and there is no unrighteousness H5766 H5766 in him.
A garden H1588 inclosed H5274 is my sister, H269 my spouse; H3618 a spring H1530 shut up, H5274 a fountain H4599 sealed. H2856 Thy plants H7973 are an orchard H6508 of pomegranates, H7416 with pleasant H4022 fruits; H6529 camphire, H3724 with spikenard, H5373 Spikenard H5373 and saffron; H3750 calamus H7070 and cinnamon, H7076 with all trees H6086 of frankincense; H3828 myrrh H4753 and aloes, H174 with all the chief H7218 spices: H1314 A fountain H4599 of gardens, H1588 a well H875 of living H2416 waters, H4325 and streams H5140 from Lebanon. H3844
I am come H935 into my garden, H1588 my sister, H269 my spouse: H3618 I have gathered H717 my myrrh H4753 with my spice; H1313 I have eaten H398 my honeycomb H3293 with my honey; H1706 I have drunk H8354 my wine H3196 with my milk: H2461 eat, H398 O friends; H7453 drink, H8354 yea, drink abundantly, H7937 O beloved. H1730
And he fenced H5823 it, and gathered out the stones H5619 thereof, and planted H5193 it with the choicest vine, H8321 and built H1129 a tower H4026 in the midst H8432 of it, and also made H2672 a winepress H3342 therein: and he looked H6960 that it should bring forth H6213 grapes, H6025 and it brought forth H6213 wild grapes. H891 And now, O inhabitants H3427 of Jerusalem, H3389 and men H376 of Judah, H3063 judge, H8199 I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. H3754 What could have been done H6213 more to my vineyard, H3754 that I have not done H6213 in it? wherefore, H4069 when I looked H6960 that it should bring forth H6213 grapes, H6025 brought it forth H6213 wild grapes? H891
And G2532 seeing G1492 a fig tree G4808 afar off G3113 having G2192 leaves, G5444 he came, G2064 if G1487 haply G686 he might find G2147 any thing G5100 thereon: G1722 G846 and G2532 when he came G2064 to G1909 it, G846 he found G2147 nothing G3762 but G1508 leaves; G5444 for G1063 the time G2540 of figs G4810 was G2258 not G3756 yet.
Then G1161 said he G2036 unto G4314 the dresser of his vineyard, G289 Behold, G2400 these three G5140 years G2094 I come G2064 seeking G2212 fruit G2590 on G1722 this G5026 fig tree, G4808 and G2532 find G2147 none: G3756 cut G1581 it G846 down; G1581 why G2444 G2532 cumbereth G2673 it G846 the ground? G1093
Ye G5210 have G1586 not G3756 chosen G1586 me, G3165 but G235 I G1473 have chosen G1586 you, G5209 and G2532 ordained G5087 you, G5209 that G2443 ye G5210 should go G5217 and G2532 bring forth G5342 fruit, G2590 and G2532 that your G5216 fruit G2590 should remain: G3306 that G2443 whatsoever G3739 G302 G3748 ye shall ask G154 of the Father G3962 in G1722 my G3450 name, G3686 he may give it G1325 you. G5213
And G1161 some G5100 days G2250 after G3326 Paul G3972 said G2036 unto G4314 Barnabas, G921 G1211 Let us go again G1994 and visit G1980 our G2257 brethren G80 in G2596 every G3956 city G4172 where G1722 G3739 we have preached G2605 the word G3056 of the Lord, G2962 and see how G4459 they do. G2192

Commentary on Song of Songs 6 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 6
In this chapter,
Sgs 6:1-3
Here is,
Sgs 6:4-10
Now we must suppose Christ graciously returned to his spouse, from whom he had withdrawn himself, returned to converse with her (for he speaks to her and makes her to hear joy and gladness), returned to favour her, having forgiven and forgotten all her unkindness, for he speaks very tenderly and respectfully to her.
Sgs 6:11-13
Christ having now returned to his spouse, and the breach being entirely made up, and the falling out of these lovers being the renewing of love, Christ here gives an account both of the distance and of the reconciliation.
