5 The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, You shall not come in here. Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion; the same is the city of David.
Yahweh has accomplished his wrath, he has poured out his fierce anger; He has kindled a fire in Zion, which has devoured the foundations of it. The kings of the earth didn't believe, neither all the inhabitants of the world, That the adversary and the enemy would enter into the gates of Jerusalem.
> Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, Which can't be moved, but remains forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.
If he be able to fight with me, and kill me, then will we be your servants; but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall you be our servants, and serve us. The Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
