7 Therefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their donkeys, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
For, behold, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together. They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed, They hurried away. Trembling took hold of them there, Pain, as of a woman in travail.
then you shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there. The cities shall be to you for refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer not die, until he stands before the congregation for judgment.
The destroyer shall come on every city, and no city shall escape; the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed; as Yahweh has spoken. Give wings to Moab, that she may fly and get her away: and her cities shall become a desolation, without any to dwell therein.
Flight will perish from the swift; And the strong won't strengthen his force; Neither shall the mighty deliver himself; Neither shall he stand who handles the bow; And he who is swift of foot won't escape; Neither shall he who rides the horse deliver himself; And he who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked in that day," says Yahweh.
