1 I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, "Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will kill the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape.
But God will strike through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as still continues in his guiltiness.
No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
"For in the day that I visit the transgressions of Israel on him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel; And the horns of the altar will be cut off, And fall to the ground.
One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Hosts! The whole earth is full of his glory!" The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
Open your doors, Lebanon, That the fire may devour your cedars. Wail, fir tree, for the cedar has fallen, Because the stately ones are destroyed. Wail, you oaks of Bashan, For the strong forest has come down.
When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last,
John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
[Micaiah] said, Therefore hear you the word of Yahweh: I saw Yahweh sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
