13 Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and Yahweh brought an east wind on the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up its waves. They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble. They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits' end. Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, And he brings them out of their distress.
