8 Yahweh has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored:
9 but those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Yahweh; and those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

Chapter 62
The business of prophets was both to preach and pray. In this chapter,
Isa 62:1-5
The prophet here tells us,
Isa 62:6-9
Two things are here promised to Jerusalem:-
Isa 62:10-12
This, as many like passages before, refers to the deliverance of the Jews out of Babylon, and, under the type and figure of that, to the great redemption wrought out by Jesus Christ, and the proclaiming of gospel grace and liberty through him.
